Aurelia

Today, I went to high school. I felt relieved to discover that I wasn't human. I got out of the car and went to school. I hoped for something exciting to happen and to make things less boring.

But as I walked, I noticed my ex-girlfriend Bree passing by me, accompanied by Mia. "Bree!" "I noticed my ex-girlfriend Bree passing by me, accompanied by Mia. When I yelled, "Bree!" she froze in her tracks.

I'll meet you by the lockers,' she said, kissing Mia on the cheek before coming over."What do you want, Aura?" she asked, placing her hands on her hips.

"Why did you leave me for someone else?" I asked, pleading for an answer, hoping for a chance to reconcile.

"You ended things out of the blue when everything was going well, Aura," Bree sighed and rolled her eyes. Her words stung, but I couldn't blame her for being honest.

"Can we please get back together?" I asked, my eyes filled with hope.

Her answer was firm and unwavering. "No, I'm not going to hurt Mia. "She said, "You had your chance with me," then left. I felt disappointed and regretful.

As I reached for the door, a familiar voice said, "That's what you get for not taking someone ."I turned my head, crossing my arms in annoyance. Last night's handsome boy, who rejected my request to be his girlfriend, was here.

As I looked at him, simmering with anger, I couldn't help but spit in front of his shoes. "Hey, what are you doing here?" he asked, stepping closer to my face. I stepped back, my back hitting the school door, avoiding eye contact to hide my blush from his piercing gaze.

"Can you move back? You're invading my personal space," I said, pushing him away. His smug smirk only fueled my irritation. "Who would want a jerk like you as their boyfriend?" I scoffed, opening the school door. Why did my morning have to start with someone like him?

Frustrated, I walked towards my locker, thoughts consumed by him and Bree. But amidst my anger, a different kind of hunger arose within me. Not the regular kind, but that bloodthirsty vampire craving.

Ah, the perks of being part vampire. At least I could still walk under the sunlight. I sighed as I walked up to my locker to see Jia standing there with a downcast attitude.

I ran over to her, concern flooding my features. "What's the matter?" I asked, lifting her chin and grabbing a napkin from my pocket to wipe away her tears. It might seem odd to do this for your best friend, but Jia was more than that to me. She was like family, someone I cherished, though not in a romantic way.

She admitted that she liked someone who was already in a relationship. Her voice sounded sad and hurt. As I noticed her sadness, I attempted to comfort her. I admitted, "I tried talking to Bree today, Jia, but she doesn't want me back." I hugged her to make her feel better.

A deep voice interrupted our moment. "You're such a flirt, no wonder your ex doesn't want you back," it said. I begin to face the person only to wind up having my mouth touch theirs.
