2 weeks later...

"Beauuuuu come onnnn" the blonde girl yelled. He had basically fully healed from his injuries, so Nova decided it was time for her to leave the castle.

The man came rushing down the stairs as if she was in trouble. "What is it?" he replied rushing to her. She looked at him with a blank expression. Why was he running towards her like she was dying?

"Calm down please we are just leaving." He grunted in response.

Today was the first-time Nova was leaving the castle fully in weeks. She was going to go see her Aunt Margaret. Her aunt Margaret was one of the only people that made her feel connected to the normal world.

She was just a girl who fell in love with a man who happened to be royalty. She was a beautiful American woman who taught Nova all about the life of a normal person. It sounded beautiful.

When everything was spiraling her aunt was always there making sure she didn't break down and recently everything was definitely spiraling.

Nova and Beau stood outside and waited for the driver to bring the car around. She looked over to him wishing he'd give her more than a grunt in response. I mean she took care of him for Christ's sake you'd think they'd do more than argue.

They got into the car and not a word was said the whole way there. They finally reached the house, and they were greeted by one of the brightest smiles in the universe. "Aunt Maggie!" Nova yelped while she ran to her.

"Ohhhh hi gorgeous!" they embraced each other before she led them both inside.

She sat down both of them on the couch with tea in front of them. They talked endlessly as Beau sat there bored as ever. Nova just ignored him because it's not like he took this job for fun anyways.

Maggie turned to Beau and started looking him up and down with a smile. "So, Beau tell me about you." She said as Beau stared at her as if he was taken aback by the question.

He didn't know whether to give a real answer or just not respond. Either way both were wrong in his book. "Oh, I'm just Nova's bodyguard." He said in the most professional voice he could put on.

Nova rolled her eyes before she spoke "You can't ask him anything about himself he never gives real answers" She gave a sarcastic smile.

She watched as he gave a small sigh "Actually I was born in Laos and served there." he said.

'Are you fucking with me right at this very moment' She thought. "Oh, that's nice! Actually my husband served up there! He was kind of the tough type like you, but I eventually broke his shell." Maggie replied sweetly as she drunk her tea.

They all talked some more before the two had to get back. They thanked her and went on their way.

Again. Not a word was said in the car.

Not a word was said when they entered the doors.

Nothing until she finally decided to address the elephant in the room.

"So, you could tell a woman you just met about yourself but not me, hm?" He looked at her briefly "It's not in my job contract to be friends with you" He boldly said.

He was right but if they were going to be around each other all the time they might as well get along. Right?

"Okay. Goodnight" She said.

Beau sighed ."I barely told her anything and you know that. That was something you could clearly find in my file"

Sure, it was stupid to be upset over this I mean she didn't even like him he was so bland but why wouldn't he just tell her. "Alright" She said blankly and walked into her room to sit down.

Oh, please you're dramatic!

She laid back on her bed with a sigh. She suddenly hard a knock on her door and she got up to open it. There he was. Standing in front of her door with the same dumb expression.

"Oh, how they come running back" Nova said with a teasing tone.

He grunted in response. "If I hear one more grunt from you, I might do something to myself. What do you want"?

"Let's get along." He said. She was shocked. He asked HER himself? This was so different. Was he coerced or something or maybe bitten by an extremely venomous spider? "Why would we do that? Haven't we had sooo much fun arguing" she said walking further into her room, but he didn't follow after her.

"I'm serious." he lowered his head. She sighed a long and exaggerated sigh. "Alright. Let's."
