! gagamaru may be a little bit OC
YOU were just coming home from soccer practice when a white haired male with black ends stopped you.
confused you were about to ask what he needed when he said something that completely caught you off guard.
" you're so pretty miss. " he said bluntly. this made you blush a bit. you weren't that good at handling compliments so you'd usually reply with an awkward ' thanks ' , but this time was different. you actually replied back.
" you're really handsome too. " you said. after a few seconds you realized what you said. you hid your face in your hands to try and hide the blush. the male tilted his head in confusion. " my name is gagamaru, can we be friends ? " he asked. you nodded, unsure of what else to say.
over the next few weeks, you and gagamaru started hanging out more often. you would mostly ask him things about himself while he would beg you to play soccer with him.
but recently, you got this weird, burning feeling in your heart. and the weird thing was, it only happened around gagamaru.
you being clueless about love, asked your friend, anri. this was after school, and you were in the classroom, unbeknownst to you that a someone was in total earshot of your conversation.
you called her number, and waited for her to pick up.
" hey ! whats up ? " anri asked.
" i need to ask you something.... " your voice trailed off at the end.
" yeah ! ask away. "
" why do i get this feeling ? "
" describe it. "
" its like...i feel so relaxed and flushed when i'm near my friend. "
" let me guess, its gagamaru ? "
" yeah- wait how did you know ? nevermind, anyways, i feel a burning sensation in my heart. in a good way . "
" y/n....your in love.. "
" ... "
" i have to go, please update me about your crush on gagamaru. bye bestie ! " the call ended. your face was still as surprised as ever. Love ? no way. gagamaru was just a friend...right ?
you felt sad when you said he was just a friend. maybe he was more.
finally, after a long session of thinking. you came to your conclusions. you were in love with gagamaru.

the following day, your actions seemed more suspicious to gagamaru. the said male was annoyed at this. so what if you liked him huh ? yes he heard your conversation with anri, and no he was not surprised to hear that you liked him. after all, he liked you back.
he pinned you to the nearby wall, and his expression darkened. " why are you acting so suspicious today huh ? almost as if your acting like you dont like me . " gagamaru asked.
you, face flushed as hell, mumbled, " how did you know i liked you . "
" resources. " the male responded. that was a lie, he was eavesdropping, but he would never tell you that.
" i'm sorry. because of my stupid crush, our friendship will be ruined. " you said, teary eyed.
" yeah it will. our friendship will be no more. " gagamaru started. your head dropped down more.
" thats because its a relationship now. i never said i didnt like you back. " he finished. when you heard this, your heart did a summersault. you were so speechless, gagamaru thought your soul left the earth.
since then, you and gagamaru had been the absolute romantic, fruity couple ever.
