Eyes Never Lie!

Bladebreakers found out that one of the security guards was sent by Boris. He helped kidnappers to kidnap (Y/N) and also messed with CCTV footage. The police arrested him along with Boris and the rest of his men.

In the hospital

(Y/N) was quickly admitted to the hospital. The doctor was checking her condition. Both Majestics and Bladebreakers were worried sick. Kai was sitting there quietly praying for her safety. The doctor came out and said, "Who is with the patient (Y/N) McGregor?" "I am her brother. How is she? What happened to her?" Johnny asked while panicking. "Don't worry Mr. McGregor your sister is out of danger. She might had panic attacks due to which she fainted. Also, the wound on her leg is not very deep. She is very lucky that she was brought here on time. We are going to keep her here for the night for observation. If everything is normal she can go home tomorrow morning," said the doctor. Everyone sighed in relief that nothing serious had happened to (Y/N).

"Doctor has (Y/N) gained consciousness?" asked Hilary. "No, sadly she is still unconscious. She has severe panic attacks, it will take some time for her to gain consciousness. I guess she will be awake by the morning. Till then 1 of you can stay with her. Rest have to go home since visiting hours are over." said the doctor. "Alright, we will leave shortly," said Mr. Dickenson.

"So who is going to stay with (Y/N)?" asked Kenny. "Huh isn't it obvious it will be me, since I am her brother," said Johnny. "Well, I was the one who saved her so I will be staying with her," said Kai. Both Kai and Johnny started arguing with each other. "Stop it both of you. I will be staying with her," said Tyson with a proud face. There was a pin-drop silence no one uttered a single word. All of them were staring at Tyson with a judging look on their face. "Tyson! We need someone mature to stay with her," said Kenny. Both Johnny and Kai ignored Tyson and again started arguing.

A nurse who was present there said, "Don't fight you two it's a hospital. You are disturbing the other patients. Both of you can stay here with us." Saying this nurse went out of the room. Bladebreakers and Majestics also took their leave. Now only Kai and Johnny were left with (Y/N). (Y/N) was still lying there unconscious.

At the night

Johnny and Kai were sitting outside (Y/N)'s room. There was an awkward silence between them. "I knew that this day would come..." started Johnny. Kai looked at him confused. "What do you mean?" asked Kai. "I knew (Y/N) would get in danger someday because of her bit beast. That's why I was not allowing her to participate in the championship. But that stupid girl never listens to me. When I told her not to participate, she ran away from the house." said Johnny. Kai was shocked listening to Johnny. "(Y/N) ran away from house? Why?"
Johnny continued with a sigh, "You know she wanted to become a world-class beyblader right? Three years back Mr. Dickenson saw her blading with some kids. He was impressed by her skills and asked to participate in the world championship. When she came home she was so excited about it. But we knew her bit beast Drazalia is one of the most powerful bit beasts and if anyone with ill intentions came to know about it they would harm to get her bit beast. That's why I told her not to go but she ran away from home and later joined Bladebreakers."

"She liked adventure, didn't she?" said Kai with a slight smile. "But what did that adventure cost her? She could have nearly died. I hate to admit it but I am so grateful that you saved her," Johnny said while wiping a tear. He is really worried about his little sister. He can't image what he would do if something happened to her. Kai patted Johnny's shoulder and said, "It's alright. She is out of danger now. You know she is not someone who will give up so easily. She is a warrior." Johnny chuckled at this statement indeed his little sister is a warrior, his warrior.

It was midnight, Johnny had already fallen asleep but Kai couldn't rest. He stood up from his seat and went inside (Y/N)'s room. She was constantly moving and sweating heaving in her sleep. Kai went near and wiped her face. It looks like she is having a bad dream. Kai sat on the stool next to her bed. He took her hand and gently squeezed it as if to reassure her that he was there with her. He leaned towards her and gently kissed her on the forehead. His inner feelings were telling him to kiss her lips but he dismissed that thought and shifted his focus to (Y/N). She had calmed down by now. Her face looks peaceful. Kai smiled to himself and soon he found his eyes getting heavier. Soon he fell asleep while holding her hand.

In the morning

(Y/N) woke up and looked around to find herself in the hospital room. She tried to move her hands but was unable to do so. She looked down to see Kai holding her hand while sleeping. 'He looks so peaceful while sleeping.' thought (Y/N). She moved some hair strands from his face to get a clear look which woke Kai up. He looked up to find (Y/N) awake. "You are awake? Wait I will call the doctor," saying this Kai went outside the room. The doctor checked her and told them that she was fine and could go home now. She only needs to take care of her leg. Blade breakers later visited her with flowers and chocolates. They were updating her about what happened after she got kidnapped and how Boris was arrested. Though Kai was silently standing there not saying any word.

After Bladebreakers left, (Y/N) and Kai were left alone. (Y/N) looked at him and tried to start to conversation. "Thank you for saving me Kai," said (Y/N). But Kai only glared at her. "Are you angry Kai?" she asked him. "The audacity you have to ask me this after pulling that stupid stunt," said Kai with a glare. "What did I do?" asked (Y/N) rather confused. "Didn't I tell you not to go anywhere alone? That Boris is going to target you!! Then tell me why did you go out, especially during the match?!!!" Kai couldn't keep his emotions in control. He was so scared to lose her. He knew if he was a little late something worse could have happened with her.
(Y/N) looked down at her lap feeling guilty. She is about to cry. She looks at Kai with teary eyes and says, "I'm sorry to worry you. Hilary told me how you put your life in danger for me. Believe me, I didn't want all this to happen."

Kai's heart melted while looking at her. How can he stay mad at her? He gently wiped her tears and said, "I'm sorry for scolding you. But at least tell me where were you going alone?"
(Y/N) looked at him with puppy eyes and said innocently, "Washroom." Kai looked at (Y/N) in disbelief. He wanted to scold her more but he couldn't bring himself to scold her. He sighed to himself and stood up. "I will ask the doctor if we can leave now," saying this Kai went out of her room.

As he came out of her room he found Hilary standing there with a smirk on her face. "What?" Kai asked with a blank expression. "Nothing just wanted to know if you confessed to (Y/N) yet or not," said Hilary with an amused look on her face. Kai gets flustered and glares at her before saying "Why would I? It's not like I am in love with her or something" "Are you sure? Because your eyes are telling a different story, Kai," said Hilary. Kai scoffed and passed by her without answering her question. "You are just imagining things, Hilary," Kai said while walking away. Hilary sighed to herself and said, "Eyes never lie Hiwatari. Everyone can see that you are in love with her. I hope you realise your feelings before it's too late."
