Love Is A Maze!

Kai was lying on the hill as usual. He was in deep thought of what is this feeling. He hates it. He hates how his body is acting on its own. He hates how he can't control his desires around her. He hates how (Y/N) makes him feel. He hated it all or so he thought.

Kai was raised by his grandfather. He just used him to collect the powerful bit beasts. He was raised without any love. He didn't even trust Bladebreakers at first. It took him a lot of time to warm up to them. Still, he is not good at expressing his feelings.

So Kai honestly doesn't understand what love is or how to deal with it? But had anyone truly understood what love is? Love is so complicated yet so simple at the same time. Love can be seen in the eyes. Love is a language that only hearts can speak and understand. Love can be both a blessing and a curse. It all depends on us.

But alas! All these things are so complex for Kai. So naturally he blamed (Y/N) for making him feel like that. Frustration started building in him as he kept thinking about her even if he didn't want to. He knows he is about to lash out. Hope no one approaches him at least for now.

On the other side

It's been a week since (Y/N) got discharged. Her wound was completely healed. Shortly after she healed the Majestics had to go back to Europe as something urgent came up. Though Johnny didn't want to leave his little sister he threw some tantrums. But had no choice but to leave when Robert forced him. And also Ray along with Hilary took responsibility for taking care of her.

As she got kidnapped during the finale, Bladebreakers weren't able to celebrate their victory. Since everything is settled now, Mr. Dickenson decided to throw a party to celebrate their victory. The party was in BBA and everyone who participated in the tournament was invited. As Valentine's Day was close Mr. Dickenson decided the theme to be something romantic. The bladers can come along with their partners. And single ones can come with their friends. It was a great chance for those who wanted to confess their feelings.

So here we are, Hilary trying to convince (Y/N) to confess her feelings to Kai. Since she knows that Kai would never confess his feelings even in a million years. "I don't think I should do this Hil. What if he rejects me?" asked (Y/N) worriedly. "I would break his bones if he did that don't worry bestie, I got your back" said Hilary beaming with excitement. This didn't help (Y/N) at all on the contrary she got more scared. "Ohh c'mon just tell him you love him. You have been crushing on him for almost 3 years now!! And everyone could see how madly in love you two are!!" said Hilary while rolling her eyes. "Why do I feel that he doesn't love me in that way?" asked (Y/N) hesitantly. "Girl!! Are you blind or something? You should have seen his condition when you got kidnapped. Or leave that have you never noticed the way he looks at you?" asked Hilary dramatically. "How?" (Y/N) looks at her confused.
"Like you are his goddamn world bitch. Go and get your man before anyone else tries to steal him," said Hilary trying to convince (Y/N) to propose to Kai.

She was right, many girls are in love with him and won't leave this chance to ask him out. (Y/N) thought about this and decided to do it. It's now or never. "But if rejects me then I'm jumping off the cliff," said (Y/N) still nervous about this. "Don't worry bestie if Kai rejects you, he won't be able to see the sunrise next day," said Hilary with a deadly smile.
(Y/N) sighed and went to find Kai.

Coming back to Kai, anger was building in him thinking about his feelings. And only he can think to solve this matter is by avoiding (Y/N). He decided to give her the coldest shoulder and avoid her for his whole life until he got rid of these stupid feelings.

To make the situation worse, (Y/N) comes there. "Hey Kai!! There you are. I was searching for you," said (Y/N). As Kai saw her he could feel his heart beating faster. He desires to hold her close and never let go forms inside her. That made him more frustrated. "What do you want (Y/N)?" asked Kai more rudely than he intended. "Are you still angry Kai? I told you I'm sorry I will be careful next time," said (Y/N) trying to convince him. Kai only scoffs in return. "Listen here if you just want to waste my time and don't have anything important to say then go away," Kai said rather harshly. "I-I just w-wanted to ask if you c-can come with me to the party," asked (Y/N) nervously. "I won't. I don't want to go anywhere with you. Just stay away from me," the moment these words slipped out his mouth (Y/N) felt a pang in her heart. Tears started forming in her eyes. "I got it. I'm sorry for disturbing you," saying this (Y/N) ran away from there.

Kai saw her crying and it felt like someone was stabbing his heart with a knife. He wanted to run behind her and stop her. He wanted to wipe those tears off her face and tell her how much she meant to him. But he decided against it. It's better this way she will avoid him now and he won't have these feelings. That's right things are better this way.
