Finally Mine!

You know the feeling when you have been betrayed so many times that you are scared to trust people, scared to fall in love? That's what Kai was feeling. Although he loves (Y/N) so much that he could kill anyone for her. Could do anything just to see her beautiful smile. But he is afraid... Afraid of falling in love... Afraid that his heart will be broken... Afraid that he could never trust anyone if she betrayed him...

As Kai was in deep thinking, somebody threw a shoe at him and he got hit on the head.  'Someone is going to die today' thought Kai as he looked up at the person who dared to throw a fucking shoe on The Great Kai Hiwatari. As he looked up he saw Hilary standing there with a furious look. She looked like she was going to kill someone. And that someone is Kai.

"What the heck Hilary? Why did you throw a shoe on me?" asked Kai angrily. "The audacity you have to ask me this after making my (Y/N) cry. Tell me what did you say that made her cry so much?" asked Hilary while looking furious. Kai's eyes widened when heard that (Y/N) was crying. He felt so terrible for making her cry. Did she cry because of him?  That's the last thing he ever wanted to happen. When Kai didn't reply, Hilary got angrier and said, "DON'T KEEP QUIET NOW HIWATARI SPEAK!!! WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?" Hilary said more like shouted at him.

Kai snapped out and looked at her "I told her to stay away from me... and that I... do not want... to go anywhere with her," said Kai with so much difficulty. Each word that came out of his mouth was stabbing his heart with a knife. Hilary stood there dumbfounded after hearing this. "Why? Why did you do this? Don't you love her?" asked Hilary. "I.... don't," Kai said. Hilary could practically hear his heart breaking. "Who are you lying to? Me or yourself?" asked Hilary but Kai didn't reply which made Hilary burst out with anger. "THE FUCK YOU MEAN BY YOU DON'T LOVE HER. DO YOU THINK I'M BLIND OR WERE YOU JUST LEADING (Y/N) ON TO BREAK HER HEART? For god sake, Kai stop lying. We all can see how much love her. Your soul nearly left your body when you heard that (Y/N) got kidnapped. And even now when I said that she was crying you looked shattered. And you're telling me you don't love her?" said Hilary.

Kai looked stunned at her outburst. "I-I..." he tried to speak but no words came out. He knew she was right, he loves (Y/N). But there is nothing he can do now. "Kai? Are you thinking that (Y/N) will betray you?" asked Hilary. Kai didn't reply just looked down. Hilary sighed before saying, "Listen, I know you have been through shit since your childhood. Tyson told me how you couldn't even trust them at the beginning. But Kai not everyone you meet in your life will betray you. Think about it yourself, why would anyone come into your life to hurt you? Don't you think some people can come into your life just to make you realize that even you deserve to be loved?" said Hilary. Kai nodded slowly understanding what Hilary she saying. Hilary continued, "And that someone is (Y/N). Do you know how she blushes when we tease her by your name, how she defends you when someone talks shit about you or how happy she gets about your success? Did you know when you betrayed the Bladebreakers and joined Demolition Boys everyone started hating you but she was the only one who was taking your side and convincing everyone to think from your perspective? Still, you think she can betray you?" asked Hilary.

Tears were flowing out of Kai's eyes, he couldn't believe he hurt the girl who loved him so selflessly. "Now if you are feeling guilty go and apologize to her. And remember that the party is tonight. Go find her before anyone else steals your girl," Hilary said while smiling slightly.

Kai nodded and stood up before running to find (Y/N). He has been searching for almost 2 hours now but he still can't find her. Anxiety creeps into him when he can't find her. He saw Tyson coming his way and decided to ask him. "Tyson, have you seen (Y/N) anywhere?" asked Kai while panting. "(Y/N)?  Oh yes, I saw her on the riverside. Brooklyn asked her out today and asked her to be his partner for the party. I guess they both will be at the party right now. I'm also going there. Aren't you coming-" Before Tyson could complete his sentence Kai ran to the place where the party was held leaving Tyson dumbfounded.
