Flashback In Max and Ray's class

"I'm so excited! I wonder what kind of people we'll come across today!" Max exclaimed eagerly as they walked towards their class. Ray laughed softly at his friend's enthusiasm. Upon arriving at their classroom, they noticed it was packed with everyone already settled in their seats. Fortunately, they spotted three vacant seats - one next to a girl wearing glasses and the other two behind her. As Ray's gaze landed on the girl, he felt a flutter in his chest. With a charming smile, he approached her and inquired, "Hey, is this seat free?" The girl, with a disinterested expression, glanced at him and replied, "No, my sister is sitting here." Ray's smile faded at her lack of interest, while Max chuckled in the background. "C'mon Ray stop bothering that cutie and sit here," Max said while patting the seat next to him. Ray sighed and sat next to Max.

A girl enters the classroom and sits beside the girl with glasses. "Thanks, Rin for saving my seat." Rin smiled at her and said, "It's alright Yuki. You are my baby sister after all." Max stared at Yuki as she sat beside her sister. Blush crept through his cheeks when he felt Ray elbowing him with a smirk. "Seems like our Maxie has fallen in love, huh?" Said Ray while teasing him. Even though Ray was teasing Max, he couldn't deny the somersaults his heart did when Rin smiled. He turned his attention towards the girl and thought in his head, 'Rin, even her name is beautiful!' Here Max gathers some courage and taps on Yuki's shoulder. Yuki turned around, her honey-brown eyes met Max's ocean blue. "Hey, my name is Max. What's your name?" Yuki blushed and replied, "My name is Yuki." Max gave her a charming smile and said, "Such a cute name you got! I hope we can be good friends." Max complimented her name and extended his hand for a handshake, feeling a warm sensation in his chest as Yuki shyly accepted. Ray looks at Rin who is watching her sister's interaction with Max. Feeling a gaze on her, she turns around only to find Ray staring at her. Ray quickly snapped out of his trance and smiled at her but Rin again turned around with a disinterested look. Ray just sighed at her reaction. Soon the professor came and began the lecture.

As the three-hour-long lecture ended, Rin and Yuki along with other students made their out of the class. They were about to go to the canteen when Max stopped them and asked, "Would you two mind having lunch with us?" Rin glared at him and said, "Nope! We don't eat with strangers." Max was about to say something when he noticed Hilary running towards them while dragging Tyson along with her. "Whoa Whoa, Hil calm down! Why are you running? Did something happen?" Asked Ray worriedly. "Nothing happened she just dragged me out of the canteen, without any reason!!" Tyson huffed. "Shut up you blind idiot! Didn't you see how jealous Kai was in class?" Said Hilary while hitting Tyson on the head. "KAI WAS JEALOUS!! WHY??" Max and Tyson exclaimed together. "Yeah, there was one guy in our class who was getting too close with (Y/N), which made him jealous. He was glaring at him like he would murder him at any given time. So when we were in the canteen I told them we were going to collect forms from the club and ran away from there." Explained Hilary. "Huh! That iceberg gets jealous for anything." Tyson scoffed making Max chuckle.

Hilary noticed two girls standing behind Ray and smiled at them. "Hey girls!! Did you finish your lectures?" Rin smiled back at her and nodded in response. "Yeah, we just finished the lecture." "Do you guys know each other?" Ray asked Hilary. Hilary nodded and said, "Yes they are our roommates. They are in your class, right? I knew you guys would meet." "Ohh your roommates? Hii I am Tyson Granger! You might know me. Do you want auto-" Tyson was cut off by Hilary hitting him on his head. "Stop! You are making them uneasy!" Hilary said while glaring at him. "I'm sorry we don't k-know you," Yuki said while stuttering a little. "You scared her Tyson." Said Kenny who came there after finishing his class. "I scared her? Girl if you are getting scared of me then you should never meet Kai." Tyson said laughing at his joke. "Alright, guys I am hungry. Let's go to the cafe." Max said and turned towards Rin, "You guys will also come, right? Since Hilary is not a stranger to you." Rin hesitated a little but agreed anyway. After eating at the cafe, everyone made their way back to their dorm.
