Chapter 5

The text from Taehyung momentarily blanked your head. It was so sudden of him to text this. Out for dinner! With him!

Of course he's just asked you yet. You still have to give him an answer but you were contemplating over what to tell him. You haven't forgiven him. Definitely haven't forgotten how he's been behaving with you all the time. 

But at the same time, you also remember how he's been the past month. Ever since he asked for a second chance, he's been nothing but the best husband. Considering your feelings every time and learning and discovering new things for you. And you were kinda impressed.

The drive was coming to an end but you still haven't given him an answer. So without thinking much about it, you typed back a reply. 

The house was as empty as you left it. You changed into comfortable clothes and did your nightly routine before climbing on bed. Taehyung's mother has sent you the details for your meeting with her friend and you were very excited and looking forward to it.

The next day, you went to meet Hyuna, The designer and Taehyung's mom's friend. She was incredible. You became her fan the moment you met her. Hyuna was a self established designer, dealing mostly with modern clothing blending with the contemporaries. 

You saw her style of work and you were impressed with how minutely she blended the designs to give it a modern but sophisticated look. Her designs were clean and so beautiful. Plus her nature. She was the loveliest person to speak to. Soft spoken and so down to earth. 

"I saw your designs that you sent me before. I have to say I'm so impressed by your knowledge of modern art. You seem to know about the fabric and the body they would suit. I really liked your designs" Hyuna said, flipping over the pages from your portfolio file. You've brought all of your designs to show her and she actually loved most of them if not all. 

"Thank you so much, ma'am. Mom told me a lot about you and your work. And i was so excited to meet you in person" you couldn't hide your excitement. She smiled watching you getting all giddy around her. 

She showed you the space where you will be working, the entire store she's planned to set up and showed you her own designs as well. After talking to her for a few hours, you bid goodbye to her and went back home. Excited would be an understatement. 

But with everything happening, you completely forgot that Taehyung was supposed to be back home that evening. On arriving home, you found his car parked in his space in the garage. The house was seemingly silent because Taehyung wasn't a very loud person but the sound of a slow running shower told you he was in there. 

You remembered him asking for that dinner and that you've agreed to go. He could ask you to go tonight so before he could come out, you went to your room to take a dress or two out.

After deciding on a dress and shoes, you went back to the living room. He was in the kitchen, tying his apron to start with food. You went there and greeted him "Hi. You're back"

"Oh hi" he hesitated to either go for a handshake or a hug but settled with a headshake "yes. Got back an hour ago. You weren't home?" He asked. 

"Yes. I had a meeting with someone" you answered but then saw the dreaded expression on his face and couldn't control your smile "Don't worry. It wasn't with a lawyer. I asked mom if i can work because i get bored all day so she recommended her friend for that. I had a meeting with her" he looked at you and blinked. He looked adorable.

"YN, you don't have to.." he said but stopped. You thought he would ask you to not work and stay home like other wives. 

"I don't have  much to do around here. I get bored all day. Please…" you were saying but he stopped you mid-sentence.
