After Namjoon dropped you off, Your mother-in-law greeted you back in your house. She sneakily directed you to Taehyung's bedroom saying he has something for you in there.
He wasn't back from the office but a big blue colored wrap bag was placed on top of his bed with a small note stuck to it. You picked it up, the chaos that happened with Namjoon temporarily left your mind. You opened the paper fold and read the note inside it in scribbles.

Your lips curved up in a smile watching the gorgeous dress inside the bag. A wine colored evening gown with a slit up to the right thigh. The back side had a chained finish up until the lower back of the dress. The silk material felt amazing to the fingers and the rich texture of the cloth looked luxurious.

No doubt Taehyung had a rich taste in clothes if his own wardrobe was anything to go by. His variety of customized suits and even the casual wear he had were top class. You loved the dress. And you even loved the fact that he chose it for you.
Your mother in law sneaked behind you while you were admiring your dress. She came inside after a knock and stood beside you. "It's beautiful, isn't it?" She said, eyeing the dress.
"Yes it is" you replied. The dress really was beautiful. You weren't a gown typa girl but if you could, you'd wear this particular gown every day.
"You'll look gorgeous in it" your mother-in-law made sure to never skip compliments when it came to you. She was supposedly your biggest admirer and that thought fills you joy every other day. "I'll be back in a few hours. The party starts at 8 so be sure to be ready by 8:30" she said, winking her way out of Taehyung's room leaving you behind.
You smiled at her words. After she was gone, you finished the last minute mess around the house. Namjoon's words kept circling around your head again. How could he start liking you? Wasn't he aware of your marriage? Taehyung's mom and his mother were friends or acquaintances at least. He must be aware of your and Taehyung's relationship.
Right around 7, Taehyung got back from the office. You were in the kitchen looking at the preparations when Taehyung's voice caught your attention. "Where's YN?" You heard him ask one of the house helps. The woman pointed towards the kitchen and Taehyung strides to where you were.
He came face to face with you with an adoring smile in his face "hey" he said in a low voice. You couldn't help but feel giddy. It was your one year anniversary and you were feeling nervous as if you're meeting him for the first time. He was married to you and your heart was skipping several beats just at the thought of having him all to yourself. He was yours. Probably forever.
"Hi. You're back early" you forgot how to talk suddenly. He looked tired but still so marvelous.
"Yeah. I had an important place to visit before heading home to you" he said, picking up the glass of water the house help offered him. The intensity of his words descended upon you a second later. Home to you. You were his home.
