Chapter 6

Shivering!! That's what you were feeling. You weren't cold, no! You were shivering with nervousness. Nervous because you were going to dinner with your husband. A dinner that your said husband has referred to as a date. 

Taehyung simply went on to say let's go on a dinner date, he didn't even know what effect his words had on you. Now back in your room, you were pacing back and forth in front of your wide open wardrobe, deciding what to wear. 

You didn't want to dress so casual that it would look like a picnic outing next to Taehyung nor did you want it to be so shimmery or glamourous to look straight out of a vogue wedding season edition. 

After numerous glances around your dresses later, you finally brought out an off white high-neck sweater and a cute black floral mini skirt. You styled the outfit with a pair of boots and a small pretty neck chain. Tying your hair in a sleek low bun, you were ready with natural makeup. 

Taehyung was waiting for you by the time you got out to the living room. He was dressed in a Pinkish-beige shirt and brown pants. His hair was styled beautifully. He undoubtedly looked absolutely ethereal.

You had to do a double check because it was partly his everyday outfit but for some reason, that casual laid back expression in his face made him look like a different person. 

When he saw you walking to him, he stood up, keeping the magazine down. He didn't blink for a second but then he quickly blinked away and cleared his throat. "Uh- the car is ready. Shall we go?"

"Sure" you kept your smile in and followed him out. There was his car but his driver was nowhere to be seen. "Where's Mr. Han?" You asked about his driver. 

"He's not here" he simply replied and opened the passenger seat door for you. You're sitting in front! That means he's driving! 

"Yes YN, I'm driving. I know how to drive" he said with a smile. Did you say that out loud? How did he..? Nevermind.

You got inside the car and he came in the driver seat. You've never seen him drive before so a small part of you was scared to be in the car with him, unattended by a professional driver. But you didn't let that feeling surface on your face. 

"Don't worry, YN. I have a driver's license. You're safe with me" he assured you with a chuckle. Can he read minds now? What was happening??

Nonetheless, you relaxed and he started the car. He was actually very good at driving. But every time he'd shift the gear, his fist would  clench around the wheel. You analyzed and came to a realization that your naked legs were the real reason behind his behavior. Because every time he shifts the gear, his hand would lightly graze your thighs.

You didn't notice it because you were too busy enjoying the view at the front. But you liked the effect you were having on him so you were happy. 

"We're here" he announced as you saw a beautiful and lavish looking restaurant coming into view. He got out of the car and then walked to get you out of it as well. The valet took your keys and parked the car while Taehyung took your hand in his and guided you inside the restaurant.

As beautiful as the outside of the place was, the interior was equally gorgeous. The setting gave a warm feeling like home while the decorations were so lively at the same time. 

"Ma'am - sir, this side please" a waitress came in to greet you and gestured to you two to go inside. Taehyung offered to go first and you followed the girl to the far end of the restaurant where a table was reserved under Taehyung's name.

"Did you plan all of this?" You asked once you were settled in the seat Taehyung held out for you. 

"A little. I'm not good at these things but I'm trying. Hope you like it" Taehyung said with an edge to his words. He was definitely nervous to be there with you for the very first time.
