The next day, Ambrose had the team lined up at their base of operations, "We would like to welcome Mark aboard once again." He said as they all cheered for him, giving him a warm welcome, "Now it's time for us to work over before the full noon, so we need to know where these lone wolves go and hang out. Alice, that's where you come in; I need you to recon-wait to engage with them.

Yes sir!

Rock...you & I are going to work on Intel." Ambrose said as Rock nodded, " Kip, you with Mark and get him ready for what's to come...werewolf killing 101.

Yes sir!

Remember, a small team won't bring too much attention, so let's keep a clear head and focus." Ambrose said, then you looked at Mark, "Anything on your mind Mayflower?

...Yes, sir, But they will snuff us out, Ambrose?

Ambrose said.

"Don't worry about a thing; I'm a hunter, remember...I'm always prepared." As their tasks were ready, he replied, "Oh yeah, Mark, don't worry about it...everything is going to play out."

"Yes sir, can I see my old man?" Mask asked.

"Of course, man, you don't have to ask me shit like that; come on now, bro," Ambrose responded.

Mark & Kip headed out as well, Ambrose with Rock; Alicia stayed behind as she approached the weapon rack. Mark talked with his father's doctor at the hospital, saying, "Your father is finally stable but still needs care, so we're staying on top of it and just gave him something to ease his pain.

Thank you so much, doc!" Mark responded, heading to see his father while Kip waited in the lobby for him.

Mark walked inside his father's room & where his dad was sitting in bed, "Old man!" To his father's side, "Hey, son." He responded, not in full strength, while Mark walked up, giving his father a huge hug and a kiss on the forehead, "How you doing, old man? Miss you!" Mark smiles while sitting in the chair on the side of the bed.

"Yeah, the kiddos from the restaurant came by to see me earlier. Checking on me, they all brought me a get-well card and balloons, and the card was signed by everyone.

That's good, pops; I'm glad you're better." Mark responds as his father gives him a look, "How's your brother James? Is he okay?" He asked as Mark got up, "Why you're worried about him?

What do you mean, he's your brother?

He is not my brother; he's a freak, and he's the reason you're in the hospital now!

His father was confused, "Pops...this is his fault; you almost died!.... Who is this? I'm talking to you because this is not my son."

Boy..... what is wrong with you? James is your brother...I promise his father, my best friend, and brother in arms when we serve together. How do I deal with you? How can you react this way, son, towards your brother?

He's not my brother, and how can you lay there still taking up for him?

That's life, son; things happen, and you know that.

This is bullshit!

Hey, watch your mouth, boy....where all this anger came from and why it's towards James." His father said as Mark looked at his dad & walked out while his father looked at him, leaving at his room, "....God, keep my son covered please." Looking forward to the window.

Mark came storming out of the room & down the hall, where Kip was waiting, "Let's ride, Kip!" He said as they both took the elevator.

On the other side of town, James was at a church, sitting inside doing after-service hours. He was sitting in the back of the church looking at the cross and what the words above said (God is forever with you.)
