Rukawa Kaede || When Nuisance Turns Into Something

"What are you doing here Sawakita?" Yuzuki asked getting away from his embrace, wondering how the hell he's even here in Shohoku's basketball gym.

"Not even a hello? Oh C'mon Yuzuki-chan. Ain't you miss me?" He flirted.

"Shut up! Why would I even miss you?" She said with an irritated expression.

When Sawakita was about to reply, his team showed up.

"Woah, is that Yuzuki-san? Did she transferred here in Shohoku?" Nobe said.

"Probably yo," Fukatsu replied.

Sannoh team visited the Shohoku's gym because they wanted to wander around. Minutes later Shoyo, Ryonan and Kainan team showed up.

There's no particular event today but teams from the other district showed since some of them want to watch how Shohoku plays. Well, the coach of Ryonan wants to have a practice game against Shohoku that's why some other teams were here to watch.

Yuzuki walks her way to the upper bleachers and sat leaving Sawakita behind.

Why is he even here? That fucking arrogant bastard. is here! I hate this! I hate it!

She cursed in her mind looking at the people cheering.

When the team Ryonan and Shohoku starts to warm up, getting ready for the game, Sannoh boys sat on the bleachers comfortably. Sawakita didn't notice Yuzuki left him. He was about to look for her but the game has to start.

Ryonan has higher scores than Shohoku as the ace of the team fired up. He always wants to show off his talent to everybody even the red head on the other team. Rukawa seems to just play normally like he always do though, he's not that fired up like on the last times that he played with the team Ryonan.

"Oi Rukawa, show me your best shot. This isn't really challenging. The game is getting boring you know?" The spikey hair said while Rukawa dribbles the ball.

Rukawa didn't answer. He seems bothered.

What he be thinking now?

"Is that how the Rukawa guy plays? Damn, this is boring." Sawakita said letting out a sigh.

Yuzuki heard that but she didn't mind it.

The practice game ended with the scores of

Ryonan - 62
Shohoku - 59

It wasn't a bad game though but the Ryonan's ace isn't that pleased about it. He thinks that he isn't challenged by the fox.

Rukawa didn't give a damn though. Anzai-sensei seems to understand since he think that Rukawa is focusing on his academics.

Yuzuki was about to leave but then the familiar girl that she despise so much appeared just in front of her.

"Babe!" The girl said.

"Loraine, what are you doing here?" Sawakita replied as the girl kisses his cheeks.

"I came here to see you~"

While the two talk, Yuzuki felt heavy on her heart. Especially when the two are getting sweet to each other.

Not a minute after, Yuzuki walked out of the gym crying. She wipes her tears as she walks out and then didn't notice that she drop it somewhere in the gym.

She sat on the bushes as she hides herself there.

She can't seem to control her emotions especially that the happenings in the past flashbacks on her mind.

I hate them! I hate them! Fuckers!

She cursed in her mind while the tears streaming down on her cheeks..

she sobs on the bushes and she doesn't care if her uniform gets dirty.

"I heard that Sawakita guy is the ex boyfriend of that Hibikara. I don't know if it's true but yeah it's just a rumor."

"I heard she was being played. Poor Hibikara."

"His new girlfriend is not that pretty."

"and so is Hibikara,"

"Hahaha!"

The students laugh as they walk pass the bushes. They didn't know that Hibikara was there. She heard all of it and it makes her cry a even more.

"Oh c'mon captain, we have to tell Sawakita-san!"

"Let him be yo! Sawakita and his new girlfriend is fucking annoying yo!" The man replied and Hibikara can recognize that voice.

"I wonder how Hibikara-san would feel."

"Yeah, our friend is a fuckin' red flag!"

"I agree but we can't stop him."

"I would want to have my apologize to her yo. Still guilty of what happened to her that day yo,"

"Yeah me too."

Hearing that make Yuzuki's heart hurt even more. She feels like it's crushed for a million times.

When the voice faded away, Yuzuki couldn't control herself as her sobs getting louder for a little.

All the memories, the betrayal comes back and it felt like yesterday. She can't take it anymore, she cries in pain as the sun rays reflected on her eyes.

She doesn't care anymore.

This fucking hurts! I hate this!

She cursed throwing some small rocks on the other side.

"I fucking hate this day!" She screamed. Good thing that there's no students at the moment.

She throw the rocks everywhere to ease the hurt but when she throw another rock, the sun rays were replaced by a man's shadow.

The man seems to catch the rock that she threw and when she looks up who the man is, it surprises her.

"Oi!" Rukawa called looking at her crying state.

She stood up, wiping her skirt and then wiping her cheeks.

"If you're here to insult me, just leave me alone." She said trying her best not to cry. It's the first time that Rukawa see her crying.

"I'm not here to insult you. I'm here to return this," He said tries to hand her the handkerchief.

"Throw that away! I don't need it." She said as she tries to sound calm.

She then walks out leaving the fox behind.

The handkerchief that Rukawa is holding is the one that she always uses but today, she doesn't like to see it since she used the handkerchief to wipe her tears seeing again the man who breaks her heart.

As Rukawa left wondered, he decided to just keep the handkerchief on his pocket and try not to think what's wrong with her. Though deep inside, he felt...

What's wrong with her? I already passed the papers to Komako-sensei... She's being dramatic today,

He thought as he walk on his way to his bike that was parked and decided to just go home.
