"Hop on,"

"Eh? Okay?"

Yuzuki then sat at the backseat of Rukawa's bike. Rukawa then started to step on the pedal of the bike as Yuzuki hold on tight on Rukawa's jacket.

Rukawa stopped and place Yuzuki's hands around his stomach so she could hold tight when driving the bike.

"Oi?!" Yuzuki reacts as she felt her cheeks is burning.

She's flustered.

"Hold on tight, Doahou! Or else you're going to fall on the road." Rukawa uttered while his eyes were still focusing on the ground.

"I'm fine just holding on your jacket!" She replied with a stutter.

"Do you want to fall?" he asked. Yuzuki shakes her head and just wrap her arms on his stomach.

As the moon shines bright and the moonlit reflects on the road, Rukawa started his bike and drive so peacefully. Yuzuki's heart starts to beat faster as she feels Rukawa's stomach. It wasn't even necessary to wrap her arms on his stomach but Rukawa just cares for her safety. When Rukawa drives faster, Yuzuki held on super tight. Rukawa felt butterflies in his stomach and it was the first time he felt that kind feeling. He was nervous but still kept an unbothered state.

Seems weird, seems strange but sure that he kind of like it.

"Hey! Can you drive slowly?! I don't wanna fall!" Yuzuki complains.

Rukawa smirks as he still continues to drive. He doesn't know why just smirked. They then passed on some alley that is a bit dark and Yuzuki got confused why did they pass their way there. Instead of proceeding to their way to the nearest train station, they were now on the dark alley.

"Hey! This isn't the way to the train station. Oi! Are you going to murder me here? I don't wanna die yet!" Yuzuki's nervousness is rising as she squeeze Rukawa's shirt.

"Idiot! We're just taking the shortcut." He lied.

"Shortcut my ass! This isn't the shortcut route!" She argued.

As Yuzuki still on complaining, Rukawa didn't mind her rants. When they were done passing the dark alley, they then passed where the side of the road faces the ocean.

"You're killing me-oh ohhh!" She stopped when she had taken a look at the ocean where the stars glitters in the night sky.

"Wow! The night sky is so nice! Kaede! The ocean is so beaituful! How could I not know about this?" She awed looking at the ocean with the stars at the night sky as Rukawa is still driving his bike.

Rukawa smiled and it was the first time he smiled with someone with him. Of course, Yuzuki couldn't see it since Rukawa was facing the road while Yuzuki's eyes gazes on the ocean and on the night sky.

Minutes after, they then saw the train station.

"Thanks for the ride. I have to go. I'll just see you tomorrow at school and make sure you finish doing your part." Yuzuki said looking at him.

Rukawa didn't say anything but he's just staring at Yuzuki.

"Hey! Do you hear me Kaede?" She said making her voice a bit louder.

"Yes, Yuzuki.

Yuzuki's heart thump. It was the first time she hearn Rukawa say her first name.

What? No! Stop calling me that!

"Yuzuki? We're not even close friends!" Yuzuki muttered.

"And you're calling me my first name too." he replied.

"Tch. Whatever! I'll go now. Thanks again for the ride." Yuzuki then faces back at the counter but before she could go, she faces back again at Rukawa.

Rukawa raised both of his eyebrows.

Yuzuki gets her phone in her pocket and turn it on. She then handed her phone to Rukawa.

"What's this?"

"Type your number there." She said looking at his confused expression.

"Why would I?" He questioned.

"So I could have a contact with you? In case if I can't find you anywhere else, I'll just call or text you. C'mon faster! The train will go in 5 minutes!"

Rukawa is shocked because never in his life that a girl would dare to ask for his phone number. Although his fan girls asks but not directly to him. Yuzuki is the first girl who asked him that boldly. He also doesn't like that everybody has his phone number. Because the last time when he accidentally wrote his personal number on the sheet interview, he got flooded by texts messages and calls the next day and most of it were his fangirls and so he changed his number right away. The only person that has his new phone number is his mother, coach Anzai, Akagi and Ayako. As much as he doesn't want to put the number on her phone, he doesn't even have a choice.

"Faster Kaede! Don't worry! I won't give your number on your fangirls. This is just for the project purposes." Yuzuki said and she then roll her eye at him.

Rukawa then gets her phone and then type the number on her contacts. When he was done, Yuzuki then name it as "Kaede".

"Give me your phone." Yuzuki said.

"Huh?"

"I said give me your phone!"

"No." He said.

"C'mon, I'm just going to type my number in there."

"No." He repeated.

"Okay fine." She said looking away and realized it's too personal to ask and have his phone. She felt embarrassed, more like rejected.

"Anyways, I have to go. Bye." She said simply but still she felt that rejection.

She then hurriedly went inside the train because the train is about to go. Rukawa looks at her direction.

As Yuzuki sat near the window. She was hoping to see him waiting but when she gaze where he stood, he was already gone.

"Tch, why did I even bother to ask? Arghh! Why does it bother me?" Yuzuki said to herself. She still feel embarrassed when she remembered asking him his phone to put her number there but he said no.

Feeling hard to get now huh? Just so you know Rukawa Kaede, You're not that special!

She thought to herself.

The train started to go but Yuzuki can't still erase the embarrassment in her head.

Rukawa decided to go back and rode his bike back home since it's really getting late. He still have to finish his part since he can't focus on the library earlier and he also slept.

Yes, surely that Rukawa can still feeling annoyed by Yuzuki, but the kind of annoyance that makes him no longer angry but the thought of it make him pissed. He should be pissed.

The kind of annoyance that he'll miss it when he can't feel it again...
