Jess was now waking up, the day after. Emma had took her home and she went to sleep as fast as she could. She didn't want to think about him anymore. She hoped that it was just a dream, and he wasn't really back. But of course, it was real, and she was just that unlucky. The way he looked at her made her want to throw up. It was how he used to, before it happened.

Jess pushed her thoughts away as she got ready for practice. At least she could get in a sports mindset, and not have to worry about Cole. She believed that, until she saw him, in uniform. In the South town Uniform. All of Jess's team also hated him now. He used to be on their team, before everything happened and he moved away. Now he was a traitor. So she wouldn't have to pretend to be cool with him now.

Jess looked and saw that Logan saw him too. He immediately looked like he was about to murder him. He held himself back, not needing to cause a scene. And he knew that was not what Jess wanted. Logan looked to Jess now, with a worried face. "Jess" he called her, skating and stopping next to her "I didn't know he was back" Logan added.

"He was at that party last night. I didn't know he was going to be playing hockey again" Jess said, continuing to watch in horror as Cole made friends with his new teammates. Logan was shocked by this. He didn't see Cole at all that night.

"Wait so he came up to you?" Logan asked concerned.

"Yeah. He tried to talk to me but I walked away. I just couldn't...you know?" Jess finally stops looking at Cole and finally at Logan.

"He tried to fucking talk to you. That fucking bastard" Logan swore. Logan had pure hatred for Cole. Logan couldn't believe he had the nerve to talk to Jess. Cole knew what he did.

"It's whatever. He's goes to south now. I don't want any problems" This sentence was something Jess wouldn't often say. She usually wasn't afraid to have problems with anyone. She could confront someone, easy. But it was completely different with Cole. She wanted to curl up into a ball and hide for the rest of her life.

Jess looked over again. When she saw Cole interacting with different people, she saw him go up to Matt. To her surprise, Matt wasn't having it. He ignored Cole completely. Cole looked like he was saying something stupid, and Matt was sick of it. She watched as Matt simply skated away from Cole. "Ignore Cole. If he comes near you, let me know" Logan said before skating off. Jess responded with a tight lipped smile.

She went to look over to Cole again, but found Matt already looking at her. Why is this guy so obsessed? She responded with a head shake of confusion. He waved at her, a dopey grin appearing on his face. She was done. She couldn't deal with this constant staring. The weird attention he seemed to love giving her. She headed towards him, quite angrily. If she wasn't on ice, she would be stomping her feet.

"What is your problem?" She asked annoyed once she reached him. Matt responded with an offended look.

"I don't have a problem" he insisted, but Jess's sour face remained. "Seriously, what?!" He gave a small awkward laugh.

"Ugh, I hate you" Jess said, simply because she was annoyed, and that was her go to sentence.

"Didn't seem that way last night" Matt tried to keep his composure, but the ends of his mouth quirk up. Jess didn't know how to respond to this at first. It really didnt. She hated herself for letting herself get that close to him. It was always like that. Let someone get close to you and immediately regret it.

"That was a stupid mistake" Jess quickly put her fake look of sureness on.

"I don't think so. The only reason you changed your mind was because your little boyfriend had to interrupt" Matt looked her up and down. Whenever Cole was mentioned, Jess felt like she had gotten hit. It didn't matter if his name wasn't said, just a mention. Especially a mention saying he was her boyfriend.

"He's not my boyfriend" Jess's tone was suddenly cold and defensive. Matt couldn't keep the weird look off of his face. Jess realized her sudden defensiveness, and looked away from him awkwardly. Just to her luck, her gaze landed in Cole, who seemed to already looking at her. The urge to throw up felt like it might take over her.

Matt watched her gaze look away, and then he realized where she was looking. He saw Cole, and by the way her face turned pale, he knew she didn't like this guy. Before he could ask her who he was, he started skating over to them. Jess felt like she couldn't move. That's the only reason she didn't run away this time when Cole stopped in-front of them.

"Hey Jesse. How's it going?" He asked all innocent. Jess just stayed quiet. Maybe because she didn't want to answer. Or maybe because she couldn't. Cole exhales annoyed "jeez, still not talking to me?" Jess is finally about to speak up when the voice of Logan Alden enters.

"Don't even fucking talk to her" he's not talking to Matt this time, but Cole, with much more seriousness than what Matt saw at the party. Cole became visibly uncomfortable at Logan's presence. This was probably because of what Logan did after finding out about what Cole did. Matt watched the whole interaction, like he wasn't even there. The siblings now went back to their own space on the rink, leaving Matt with Cole, who was becoming more angry as Jess gained more distance from him.

"So how come Logan hates you?" Matt asked, trying to act calm, yet still having some sort of weird hatred for Cole. Cole turned to Matt with his still visibly anger face, before appearing to be calm, just like that.

"I don't know. Probably fucking mad I boned his sister" Cole claimed with a smug smirk. Matt furrowed his eyebrows at this. Why was this guy such an ass? Matt thought to himself. While he didn't exactly know Jess, she didn't seem like the type to have anything with Cole. Matt could understand why Jess grew pale just at the sight of him.
