Halloween. Jess nearly jumped in excitement as her and Emma got dressed into their winx costume. Jess as bloom, and Emma as Musa. She was meeting her boyfriend, Cole, at his Halloween party. Coles divorced dad was always out on his business trips, so Cole was left with a huge empty mansion. Logan drove as Jess sat in the passenger, and Emma in the back. "Jess, stay with Cole, I need you to be with someone. Or else Mom and Dad will kill me" Logan said, acting like Jess was this big chore.

"Aww so you care" Jess said sarcastically. Logan rolled his eyes, quickly though, as he was focused on the road.

"I couldn't care less, but if you get lost or shit, responsibility is on me. I did convince them to let you go because of your stupid boyfriend" Logan reminded her.

"Fine" Jess groaned. Her brother could not care less, so if Jess needed help, she would have to find Cole or Emma.

Cole had been Jess's boyfriend for a few months now. He was everything she had ever wanted. He was really good at hockey. He was popular, but not part of the popular group. It also was a bonus he was attractive. He occasionally left cute notes in her locker, and even though Jess knew he just looked them up, she didn't care. She just wanted to be loved. At least she thought she was in love with him. He was the only guy she had ever had (not counting the one boy in kindergarten). This is why she planned to say the three words tonight, at his party.

Mind you, at this time, Jess was a completely different person. Yes, she still shadowed behind Emma, but she wasn't the bitch everyone saw her as. She was sweet. Very friendly. So friendly that maybe she could have been one of the most popular kids in school by senior year. She was friends with more people than just Emma. She was still her best friend though. She had a pretty perfect life. A great boyfriend. All the friends she wanted. A decent brother if she gave him full credit. Everyone she knew liked her. That was something that boosted her confidence. She lived on everyone else's praise.

So as Logan parked on the street, all three of them got out. Before they could go inside, the door opened, and Coles face appeared. Jess grinned big at him, and Logan gave her a side eye before walking away from them. "Hi" Jess's grin didn't falter when saying this. Cole replied with a smile, which made Emma leave this time.

He pulled her in, giving her a sloppy kiss. "Guess they can't handle two people-" Jess stopped before she could say love, because she was waiting for the big moment to say it later "who actually like each-other" she saved herself. Cole nodded, taking note of what she might have wanted to say instead.

Then he pulled her behind him, heading to the kitchen. Jess could usually get out of drinking in most situations. But it was Halloween. With her boyfriend, who was already filling her cup. She knew she owed it to him to at least drink with him on Halloween. (Note: btw this is so not right, don't ever think this)

She drank all of whatever disguising alcohol he put in her cup, and he refilled it for her. She plastered a smile on her face before he handed her the cup, and they started walking towards the living room. They hung out for awhile, Cole proceeding to get her a new drink if she finished the one before, even though he had stopped refilling his a long time ago. Jess now sat with Cole, and a bunch of his friends. Logan and Emma no where in sight, Logan not even wanting to see them together, and Emma off with a girl.
