gojo finds himself pulling up in front of his entertainment company. although he originally promised he was coming in 3 hours, he got lazy and decided to lay at home until ichiji managed to pull him out of his house. as soon as gojo closed the car door behind him, ichiji locked the doors, preventing gojo from jumping back in.
"oi ichiji! let me in!" gojo banged on the car window.
unfortunately for him, ichiji drove off, not wanting to deal with gojo's antics any longer than he already has for the day. gojo took a large sigh and reluctantly enters the building.
upon entering, he's greeted by several staff members who were eager to see him as they rarely see gojo. if only they knew how much stress gojo usually causes ichiji, they wouldn't be as happy.
gojo heads up to yaga masamichi's office on the 4th floor. masamichi and he have known each other since gojo was a high schooler since gojo was scouted at a young age. while gojo and masamichi can never stand on the same ground most of the time, gojo considers him as a father figure but he would never admit it himself.
the elevator finally stops at the fourth floor and gojo finds his way to the boss's office. he opens the door and sees masamichi with bright pink hair. gojo lets out a cackle and sits down in front of masamichi's desk.
"so you find this funny, satoru?" yaga said with his usual stern look.
gojo pretends to think for a second. "yeah you look great!" he said sarcastically.
"let's cut to the chase. besides the fact that you threw this stupid prank, we're going to talk what you can't do on social media." yaga said in annoyance.
"but it's my account so i can do whatever i want." gojo protested. "who cares about what people are speculating?"
"your fans, the media, the ENTIRE public. unfollow that fan account of yours." masamichi usually gave gojo the freedom to do what he wanted to but opposed to anything that gave gojo a unpleasant reputation. in this case, it was flirtatiously interacting with a fan account of his.
while this usually wouldn't matter for the average person, it matters because it's gojo. he is an idol after all, he had to keep a clean image in order for his diehard fans to not become jealous.
"hell no." gojo stood his ground.
yaga was taken aback by gojo not wanting to unfollow. gojo usually did what he was asked to do to get yaga off his back. it was the first time he had actually been serious and refused an order. yaga almost felt proud that gojo would take the time to say no.
"very well, let's make a compromise. you can keep your follow but you have to come to the weekly artist meetings." yaga settled on an agreement.
"those are so boring and useless though." gojo complained.
"you clearly need them because you never follow any of the artist guidelines and we barely know where you are half of the time." masamichi countered.
"fine i guess but don't think i'm going to be on time for all of them." gojo stuck out his tongue like an immature kid.
"i don't know what your relationship is with that account you're following but i want to remind you that you can't date." yaga reminded gojo.
"can't i just secretly date? all idols do that you know. as long as people don't see it, it's fair game." gojo clicked him tongue, annoyed by the length of this conversation.
"if you do date anyone, we'll try our best to cover it up." yaga reiterated his previous statement.
"not like i want to date anytime soon anyway..." gojo mumbled, barely audible.
yaga finally lets gojo go after another half an hour lecture on his pink hair dye prank. for some reason, gojo was glad that he went to meet his boss today. he felt that his relationship with yaga solidified, knowing yaga had his back if he eventually decides to date someone.
gojo was still reluctant on dating anyone, even if he really was in love with someone. he was afraid that his fame would cause his partner to eventually leave him due to the crazy fans or his busy schedule. he would know since it happened once in the past.
