I got my Apparition licence around April. Then, the year went by fast. I was missing Albus, but he sent me post cards from different countries. They were really great. Ariana and Aberforth received some, too. Ari was very happy each time a post card came. She was like a sister to me. I cared a lot about her and helped her with her homework.
By the end of May, I was an animagus. A tabby cat. The Transfiguration teacher had helped us to go to the Ministry and declare ourselves. I sent a letter to Albus, telling him that I had done it, that I was an animagus and a tabby cat.
The end of the year came and I got top grades in my final exams. The following year, I would pass my N.E.W.T. exams.
During the summer holidays, dad got sick. It was pretty serious, but he was doing pretty well.
In September, I was Head Girl and we all went back to Hogwarts. Malcolm had his Hogsmeade authorisation. During the Christmas holidays, I would try to have my driver's licence. I was very excited about it, even though I didn't show it. My hair was always tied in a tie bun, making me think of how Albus preferred me when it was loosened. I missed him a lot.
By mid-September, we had the first Quidditch match, Gryffindor against Hufflepuff.
Of course, we won. The second one was mid-November, against Slytherin, and it was raining a lot. There was a lot of fog and wind, too.
We were winning. I had scored thrice. I couldn't see the others. There was a Chaser next to me. I recognised Malcolm, who had joined the team this year. I threw the Quaffle at him just as something hit me hard in the chest, making me fall off my broom. Then, everything went dark. The pain was too intense.

I woke up in a bed, surrounded by white walls. I looked around. Nobody was there.
Then, a Healer came in and smiled kindly at me.
"How are you feeling?" She asked.
"I don't know. A little ill, I think."
"That's normal. You got hit by a Bludget. You have some broken ribs and a concussion. The Hogwarts' mediwitch isn't competent so you were sent at St Mungo's. Just so that you know, Miss McGonagall, you aren't allowed to play Quidditch again. I couldn't give you potions to repair your ribs because it would do too much damage."
I wanted to cry. No more Quidditch. I wanted Slytherin to loose all their following matches.
There was a knock on the door and my brothers came in. When they saw I was awake, they smiled.
"You're alive!" Robert said.
"I am," I said with a smile.
"You fell from pretty high, Min'," Malcolm said.
"When you threw the Quaffle, Malcolm managed to score, but we lost. I tried to send some Bludgers to the Slytherin Beaters, but I couldn't see anything. We caught the Snitch, but lost. Without its best Chaser, Gryffindor is nothing, so we lost."
"Maybe Ariana or Abe would like to make the team?" I said.
"Min. Ariana's mother doesn't want her to. Meanwhile, you'll have to stay in bed for quite some time, so we're spending Christmas at home, just the five of us. You'll pass your driver's licence during the Easter holidays. Plus, Albus won't be home for quite some time."
"Really? Why?"
"He's still in the USA and then will go to Australia before coming back. He'll be coming back a little after Christmas. That's what he told Ariana and Abe."
