The Human and Fairy relations were never something that either side boasted about, and they both knew it. This relationship was rocky and difficult to maintain at best, with either side genuinely hating the other for various reasons, but the occasional peace treaty always floated around for whatever reason.

Sometimes one of the groups was having a tough season and needed resources, which were unattainable because of territorial conflicts, so a treaty would come about for a few months. However, these never lasted long and tensions quickly escalated again.

However, many believed this particular treaty was going to work for different reasons. King Lambert of the human side had decided to bring together the worst criminals of his kingdom into a Roman battle arena for the enjoyment of his people. How else to befriend the Fairies than to create a game where humans rip each other apart for other's entertainment.

"Are you sure this is a good idea, My Queen?" Baobhan questioned as she walked beside the pale Queen. "You know more than anyone that Lambert is a mischievous and evil man...these Arena games are just going to be used to try and get under your skin."

Morgan gently bowed her head, as if to show Baobhan respect for their worries. "Please, do not let yourself be plagued with worries, Baobhan. I shall stay vigilant for this event. If it was up to me, I would not be here, but even if the treaty is temporary—our people would benefit from it."

This did cause the red haired Fairy some worries, but she knew to trust her Queen with her entire mind, body, and soul. There was no one in this crazy world that could rule better than they could, and many knew that, even Lambert.

Morgan Le Frey was accompanied by her most trusted companions—Barghest, Baobhan Sith, and a large Fairy Knight who never showed her face, simply going by the name Asta. These three made Morgan safe regardless of where she went, but unbeknownst to her, those three felt safe wherever Morgan went.

The four of them walked through the streets of the human Kingdom with all sorts of foul eyes upon them. The people of this city were raised in an empire they despised Fairies and made them out as the worst people, and with how little they interacted, there was little information to sway their opinions on the matter.

"My Queen, these worthless humans, they're mocking you under their breath. Just say the word and this whole street will be wiped clean." Asta stepped forward and spoke in a harsh but hushed tone.

"No. These people have only ever seen us as monsters because of beasts like Lambert. To prove them right is the worst thing we can do, Asta." Her voice was cold and calculated. Being Queen for two thousand years has deprived her of any emotional connection outside of pain. "Just keep your head low, Asta."

"Y-Yes, My Queen." Asta was clearly upset and frustrated with the situation, her mind racing through rage and hatred for the humans. She'd obey her Orders though.

Morgan knew it was better to remain under the radar as much as they could, for being the Fairies that everyone in that city hated. She kept quiet and marched alongside her partners until they reached the Royal arena and the King's Balcony to watch the fights commence.
