(Note* According to some sources of Zenobia's history, by the time she started her revolt against Rome, she already had her son. It's going to be different here since I ain't about writing any sort of cheating or anything like that. And yes, I know her husband was already dead, but still feels bad. It's an alternate history because we're gonna have a happy ending.)

The War between Palmyrene and the Roman Empire was never something either side really cared for, but it was a loud and very obnoxious dilemma between the two powerful Armies. On one hand the Romans who had grown Fat and Devious with their power and felt the need to trample whoever they didn't agree with. On the other side, the Palmyrene Empire, a growing nation who announced their independence from Rome under their Queen—Zenobia.

The growing pains of this empire were made clear when they separated from Rome and their resources took a massive fallout without the backing of senators from around the world. Zenobia was backed into a corner with this problem and only one solution would give her back this power. The capture of Egypt from the clutches of Roman control. This battle would make or break her rebellion in a matter of hours.

"The Southern defenses are the weakest, My Queen. If we send a majority of our forces there, we'll solidify a strong offensive strike." Lyons, one of the generals, argued his point on the large mock up battlefield on the table. "They still outnumber us—ten thousand men to fifty thousand. We cannot afford to stumble now."

Zenobia stared down at the mock battle, her eyes gleaming down on the scale version of the pyramids and the small pebbles which represented Roman soldiers. There were ten pebbles on the table, each one representing five thousand Roman soldiers.

In opposition, five upright twigs to each represent two thousand Palmyrene soldiers. There was a massive disadvantage for the rebels, and Zenobia knew this well. With the little support she had, and the inability to bring more soldiers over the rivers, it was going to be a tough fight to capture Egypt and keep it under her control.

"I understand, Lyons, I only fear the loss of the Western front. If we fail to hold the Gates of Gaza, we'll be quickly dismantled on two fronts when Roman reinforcements arrive. The gates would take three thousand alone to hold." She crossed her arms and sighed.

The feeling in the room quickly diminished to an all time low for everyone. The hope and feeling of excitement for the Rebellion was starting to dwindle with each and every new problem that woke up to them. There was silence.

"We'll hold the Gates." A voice suddenly rose up from the back of the tent.

All five generals and Queen Zenobia turned to see one lone man standing in the back of the tent with two warriors beside him.

The man easily stood six feet and six inches, built like a Gladiator. Scarlet red hair and a beard growing in, his gleaming green eyes capturing everyone's attention. His Guards carried the same size and aura of power around them.

"Who's We? Who are you, young man?" One of the generals called out.

Lyons quickly spoke up. "That's Y/n Caviar, my Queen. He's one of the Gladiators we saved from the arena when we attacked the lost city." He sighed, giving Y/n a disappointed look. "He's crazy, please ignore him."

"Crazy!?" Y/n laughed and marched right up the war table, immediately taking the spotlight from the other Generals. "You have a thousand men at your disposal you're refusing to use! Us Gladiators are ready to take the fight to the Romans!"
