Raila Dawn is my name- or at least I think that's my name. It's what my adopted family of 12 years, Jen and Zack Lode have called me.
Jen told me my Birth Family were bad people so I had to be whisked away for my own safety. It also mean I'm never allowed out of the house. 'Precautions' they said, ' it's for your own benefit' they tell me, all so my Birth Family cant find me. And let me tell you I am sick of it. To be honest I don't know how much of that I believe.
One thing I do know is that my Adopted Family loves me just as much as I love them. I don't remember life outside living with the Lodes and considering what they HAVE told me it's probably a good thing. They give me anything I could ever want. The one thing I hate is how little they tell me about my past life. Each time I ask they tell me the same story, about how evil my family was, before changing the subject.
Anyway, I've been home schooled my whole life but Its not all bad. I'm not much of a people person anyway. Probably because the only people I talk face to face with are my Adopted parents. I get all my wanted interactions on Toktic 'The Worlds Best Social App' as the ad says.
Here in Ninjago City the most people talk about online are the Ninja. The so called protectors of this city, the Element Wielding Wonders! No one knows who they are because of the masks and code names. It's not like the die-heart, love-stricken teenage fans haven't tried.
That is a rabbit hole you do not want do go down.... trust me! One moment your reading an article about the White Ninja being a politician next your reading about the likely hood that he is a robot.
Come on that just so dumb!
I don't mind not knowing who they are though. It's not like I'll ever get to meet them.
