Lloyd Pov:
After I had set Raila back in her bed and covered her with the blankets, I watched her sleeping form for a moment before silently leaving the room. 'Why do I feel so weird with her?' Lin met me at the bottom of the stairs with a look of worry on his face.

"She is asleep" I answered his unspoken question.
He visibly relaxed, slightly.

"I'm going to head home and talk to my uncle. He should know what's going on. Let me know when she wakes up. I can only assume he will want to meet her"
Lin nodded.

"Why is stuff with you ninja always so confusing" He mumbled. I huffed and stepped out of the door.

I took one last glanced back at the stairs that led to Raila's room. 'I hope you don't have to become part of that world.' With a deep sigh I continued out and into my truck. Nya had already left on patrol for the evening. She said she would cover my route if I went straight to Wu.

Once I pulled into the monastery Master Wu was already there to meet me. I hopped out of the truck and sighed. "I assume you know what has happened already"

He nodded.

"And let me guess you can't tell me anything!"

He nodded again and I exhaled angrily.

"I would like to meet with her" He spoke softly but he left no room for question in his voice.

With a small grumble, I nodded. 'I'm sorry Raila, looks like your going to get caught up in this world after all.' I turned from him and headed inside the monastery.

Raila Pov:
When I woke up the next morning I had a text from Lloyd. I was surprised he was still talking to me after yesterday. 'Didn't he think I was weird and dangerous now?'

Green eyes:
Hey? How are you feeling this morning?

Me:
My head is still a little fuzzy
And I'm still freaked out

Green eyes:
I spoke with my uncle on everything.
He wants to meet you.

I stared at my phone a moment. 'Why would his Uncle want to meet me?'

Me:
Uh sure!
When and where?

'Was that to eager? Did I look like a creep now?'

Green eyes:
What about today for lunch. You can come to the monastery.

Me:
Ok sounds good! 👌
I'll talk to Lin

Green eyes:
Don't worry I already did.
I'll pick you up around noon.

A small portion of me was excited, the rest was just straight up terrified. I would be meeting a member of his family. But one question still lingered. 'Why would his Uncle want to met me?' When I looked at the clock I saw it was already 10am. I jumped out of bed and started getting ready.

"What should I wear?" I panicked rushing to my closet. After a moment of throwing clothes around I decided on a simple white shirt with a purple sweater and jeans.

I headed downstairs. Lin had already left for work by now so the house was empty. I ate a small snack as it was a little late for breakfast. I sat down on the couch and started scrolling through my phone. I need something to distract myself till Lloyd got there. I decided on watching Toctik. My for you page was full of the newest drama with the ninjas. Apparently the water ninja and the Lightning ninja were caught on camera holding hands. I was confused on why people were so invested in the ninja's personal lives. Weren't they people too? Well people with extraordinary abilities.
