Three weeks later, Hermione was all moved in and loving her new house. It was larger than she'd thought she wanted but she just combined and converted some of the extra rooms into a large library. When all of her books were in there, she still had more than ¾ of the space to fill up. She couldn't wait to fill it. She hoped when she had kids they would enjoy being in there too. She'd purchased some overstuffed armchairs, a sofa and some end tables with lamps to sit in front of the fireplace. She also installed various study tables around the room.
It was a Saturday, so she was just hanging out in her library when her fireplace dinged. She'd had it connected to the floo network, but rarely opened it. Getting up, she opened the floo and two seconds later, Ginny, Pansy and Anais stepped out. "Hey. What are you all doing here?"
Pansy held up her makeup kit while Anais had a garment back and Ginny had her hair products. "We're going out. The guys sent us to get you ready."
Hermione frowned. "Who? And how do you know I'm not busy?"
"Because you don't hang out with anyone anymore."
Pansy smirked. "Besides, Draco is coming. I swear, you two only hang out with each other, but tonight we're all hanging out and then I believe lover boy has a surprise for you."
The brunette rolled her eyes, but she was curious now and they all knew it.
Three hours later, they were walking into a club. When they did, all heads turned in their directions and quite a few people's eyes bugged out. It was clear that the men were hoping for a chance with the four beauties. All four acted as if they didn't notice and continued on their way. When they came to the VIP section, the bouncer immediately opened the velvet rope for them and there were their men. Draco sat having an animated conversation with Harry, his eyes twinkling as he laughed. He chuckled at something her friend had said until Blaise elbowed him and gestured towards the girls. All of them looked and both Draco's and Harry's mouths fell open.
They stood as the girls got closer and Draco extended his hand as he stepped towards Hermione. He leaned into her ear. "Wanna go dance with me?"
She was still nervous. This wasn't her thing after all. Clubs were more Ginny and Pansy's idea of fun. She nodded though. "Yes." Being in Draco's arms would be worth it and she was sure he wouldn't let her make a fool of herself.
He put her hand in the bend of his elbow and headed out to the dance floor. Both dutifully ignored the wolf whistles coming from their friends. "I don't know why I'm friends with them sometimes. They're so juvenile."
Hermione laughed. "They are, but we love them anyway. Though I must agree. I often wonder how I'm friends with Ginny and Pansy. I mean, clubbing is their idea of fun. Not mine. I always feel out of place and like I'm ruining their fun."
Draco twirled her as they got to the dance floor and then pulled her into him as the music changed to a slower song. "I don't know. I think you'd look good letting go and just dancing. You've already caught the attention of most of the guys here and quite a few of the girls too. I don't think I'll be letting you out of my sight tonight. There's a couple behind us who seem very interested in you." He all but growled the last part.
Biting back a giggle, the brunette grabbed his cheeks and kissed him gently. "I don't want anyone but you and you know I'm not into girls like that."
"Really? Because you seemed to enjoy having Pansy and Ginny touch you."
She smacked his arm. "That's different. They're our friends and you were still holding me." She pouted. "I thought it's what you wanted."
He smirked. "Oh I definitely enjoyed watching you fall apart from the attention. And I know you only let them do it because they're our friends. Trust me, I wouldn't have been okay with anyone else touching you. I'm only okay with them because I know how much Ginny loves Blaise and Pansy loves Theo."
She nodded with a smile. That was the other reason she was okay with it too. "So if I walked up to Pansy and just started making out with her while Ginny touched me, you wouldn't get upset?"
"I'd get hard, but not upset, because at the end of the day, you're mine. You know it. I know it. They know it. So if you want to let them get you all hot and bothered, I don't mind. I'll give you the release you need after."
She sighed. "Good, because the only reason I was able to find my release before was because you were touching me too. I don't know why, maybe there's something wrong with me, but I need you in order to get off."
He chuckled. "You're not broken. I mean I always had to picture you to find any type of release. Maybe it's just we both know what we feel for the other even before we wanted to or could admit it."
She shrugged as the song changed again. "Maybe."
Just then, the very guy and girl Draco had mentioned came over. "How about switching partners?"
Hermione felt a not at all pleasant shiver go down her spine at the way the guy was leering at her as he looked her up and down. She clung to Draco even harder and unconsciously glared at the woman with her fake red hair.
"No. Now leave." Draco's voice dripped with venom, but he meant what he'd said earlier. She was his and right now they were making her uncomfortable. He didn't miss the glare she sent the girl though and had to admit, he might be rubbing off on her. That was a Malfoy glare if he ever saw one. When she spoke though, he knew he and his mum had rubbed off on her.
"As much as I'm sure you'd enjoy that, I doubt either of you could keep up with us." She then gave him a sultry look. "Babe, I think we should go back. Our friends look like they may need some help." She was looking up at VIP and trying not to laugh as Ginny was trying to break away from Theo's hold and hex the girl who flirted with Blaise. To his credit, Blaise looked disgusted.
"I think you're right." He laughed as they turned their backs on the other couple and headed back up. Hermione grimaced as she heard what the girl was saying.
"Oh come on. What does she have that I don't? I'm sure I could show you a much better time than she can. I mean, I suppose she can join if you w-"
The rest of what she was going to say was cut off by the blonde. "He's not interested. And as for what she has that you don't, she has class. She doesn't need to chase a man, because unlike you, she understands that she's worthy of being chased. Which is why she married my friend. So, I suggest you get lost unless you'd like me to have our friend release her." He smiled sweetly, but his eyes were clearly glaring with the challenge.
This girl was dumb. "What about you then? I don't see a ring on your finger." She started to step towards him.
Hermione stepped between them and got in the girl's face. "Get any closer to him and you won't be seeing anything but my fist. He's mine. Now LEAVE!"
Before she could say anything else, the girl had pushed her aside and grabbed Draco, pressing herself to him and kissing him. Hermione's reflexes were quick though as the girl seemed to be drunk. She yanked her off of him by her hair and punched her straight in the nose. The girl crumpled to the floor in an unconscious heap. When she turned back, everyone was staring at her. "What? I told her he's mine."
Pansy laughed. "Now I see what you meant about third year Theo. Damn. Now I do feel bad for you Draco."
Hermione frowned and then remembered her punch from third year and blushed. She looked at Draco who was gingerly touching his now healed nose. She looked apologetic, but his eyes showed his amusement. "Hey, we both deserved it. I was a prat. We all know it." He then kissed her head.
"Oh no you don't." She grabbed his face in one hand and wiped his mouth with the other before pressing her lips to his. "There. That's better. No one should be kissing you but me."
The goofy smile on her lover's face shocked Hermione. When he spoke it made sense. "I think I like when you get possessive and territorial."
She blushed as he sat down and pulled her into his lap. "Good, because I like it when you do too."
