Nitya pov
He was hovering over me with his one hand under my head and the other grabbing my waist. Both of my hands were on his chest.
I felt a weird sensation in my stomach. My cheeks heated up due to the close proximity. He was looking directly into my soul. Somehow, the distance between us kept on decreasing. Not that i am complaining.
The eye contact, it was something else it's like he took over my senses and.......
Suddenly, a throat clearing sound bought us back to the real world. There stood Akki and Roh.
Why, god, why me every time?
He got up forwarding his hand to me, which i gladly accepted. Avoiding any sort of eye contact, and I got up.
There was awkward silence in the room, and I was just staring at the wall, which seemed to be too interesting suddenly!
"Sorry, guys! wrong timing !" Roh said as he and Akki started laughing.
"I didn't know your house was hit by tornado!" Akki exclaimed, looking at me, and it was this moment when i realized the mess we created.
There were cushions everywhere on the floor and all the stuff of living room lying on the floor. My eyes widen in realization! If mumma see this, then i am dead.
"Umm... you both go to the room, arrange the home theater, and select a movie, and me and bandar will clean the mess!" I said more like commanded.
"And why do you think i would help you!" Bandar said.
"Aaj jo humne raita failaya hai na aggr uske baad mumma ne apne living room ka yeh haal dekhliya to mere saath saath tera bhi yeh iss duniya m akhri din hai!" I said, giving him a tight-lipped smile.
Akki and Roh started laughing, shaking their heads in disbelief, and went to arrange the home theater. Bandar then quietly helped me.
After cleaning the room, we both went to the room and saw Akki and Roh fighting over the movie.
By the way, they just met outside my house for the first time, and now i guess they are friends?
Anyways we entered the room and I sat on one corner of the couch and Roh on the other and Akki settled beside me and bandar kept standing there and staring at us and then he came to me looked at me and then at Akki.
"What?" Akki asked politely.
"Shift," He replied in the same tone.
"Why! There's enough space here. You can sit here." Akki said, pointing to his other side.
"Yeah, but i want to sit here, so just shift, na!" He said, whinning like a 4 year old.
Like seriously, dude, grow up.
"Akki, it's fine. Just shift, naa.... otherwise, he will end up eating our brain." I said, rolling my eyes.
I was done for the day, so i didn't want to argue anymore. Akki shifted, making space between us, and bandar settled himself.
What is wrong with him?
Well we still have to decide the movie!!
This is the first time we have had this movie time willingly. I mean, like me and bandar went to watch movies together with our parents who went together. So since we were pretending to be friends, we couldn't protest and had to join them.
Stupid story, i know!
Why am i thinking so much about him! I should focus on the movie we should watch right now.
After a forty minute argument, we all agreed more like i forced the other three to watch 'La La land.'
I was feeling constant stares, so i turned towards bandar only to find him looking at the screen. Maybe i am thinking too much.
