I don't know what came into my mind that i got up and kissed her.
Shit!
I am pretty sure my face is beetroot red.
She didn't push me.
What the hell! I kissed her without her permission!
What if she never talks to me again.

I was just looking at her, not knowing what to say or do!

"I... uh... i should go... in.. in my room! Yeah! I am tired and sleepy!" Saying that she ran from the living room.

I made her uncomfortable!

Nitya pov

Next morning..

Did i dream of Aahan kissing me? Well, i would have believed this except for the fact that i couldn't sleep the entire night!

What was that supposed to mean. I am pretty sure i didn't imagine it! Or did I?

Akki called me.
Him using his shitty mouth more than required as usual.
Me disconnecting the call!
Expecting Aahan to tease me.
But instead, he k... kissed me!

I didn't imagine a thing.
It was too real to be imagination!
How would i face him!

Shrugging all my thoughts, i got ready for office, or else i will be jobless.

I got downstairs only to find no trace of Aahan!
Ohk! Among all the things, i wasn't expecting this!

I went to the refrigerator to pick an apple. There was a note sticked to it!

I had an early appointment, so i left for the hospital. There's food in the refrigerator, and heat it up before eating. Don't leave an empty stomach.

I smiled while reading the note. Well, i am the same person who considered these things cringe... and here i am blushing over a stupid note! Except, it's not stupid.

I took the food and had it after heating it up. Well, for the first time, i was not late for the office. Maybe because I couldn't sleep the entire night! I took the keys of my car and left for office.

Aahan pov

I had an urgent surgery today. I wanted to talk to Nitya, but i have to leave. So i ordered food for both of us, otherwise she would leave an empty stomach.

I wrote a note and sticked it on the refrigerator. I didn't feel like disturbing her sleep and about texting.... well, i don't know! I left after having food.

I came back home. Mom and dad were back along with Uncle and Aunty. Ankita will be coming back next week after her exams are over.

I entered inside. Nitya was already there. We had a brief eye contact before she averted her gaze.

I greeted everyone. I wanted to talk to Nitya, apologize to her, but she is ignoring me.

"Nitya." I called her.

"Ye.. yeah?" She stuttered.

"Can... can we talk?" I asked her with all the courage i had in me.

"Nitya! Aahan!" Before she could reply, mumma called us.We both went to her.
