Rydels pov
The police went inside a few minutes ago, ross was still trying to get in but wouldn't let him they told him that if he trespassed that he was going to get arrested, but he just kept on bugging the cops.

Ratliff was holding on tightly, he kissed my forehead, I smiled a little knowing how much he cares for me

Ratliff: I love you

I kissed him softly then pulled away, I turned back around to see if anyone came out from the building, but there was nothing

Rydel: when are they going to come out?

Ratliff shrugged, I just kept looking at the entrance

Ross's pov
God! This damn police guys won't even let me go inside to see if Laura was okay, oh how I hope she was okay, and Riker he had to be okay too, them two have lots of explaining to do about this note, but I just hope their alright

Ross: please let me in! My girlfriend is in there, she could be hurt

Okay I may have of lied about Laura ring my girlfriend, but I still love her and I needed to see if she was okay

Cop: Sir, were gonna have to tell you to back off and let us do our job, I promise once we get information of the people in there, we will inform you

Ugh!! I gave up and walked over to the car, I just waited there patiently to get any news, or at least see anyone come out of that damn building

Vanessa's pov
I was in so much pain! I tried not to think about it and focus on that my baby sister was in a room with a crazy guy with a gun! Ugh, I heard them talking but sometimes they would cut off things kept getting blurry but then it didn't, then all of a sudden I heard a gun shot, I tried to look around but all I could see was blurriness and then I saw body drop, I tried focusing on it but my started to close slowly

Ratliffs pov
We've been waiting for a long time now, Rydel was holding on to me tightly when she saw cops coming out of the building, then she saw 2 body's being pulled out in those beds with wheels, whatever you call them, she buried her face on my shoulder when she saw that one of those body's was Vanessa

Ratliff: shhh, it's okay rydel

She softly cried, I felt really bad for her.
Then Riker walked out of their, he seemed fine

Ratliff: look, it's your best friend

I smiled, she slowly looked up and when she saw him she stopped crying and smiled

Rydel: RIKER!!

Just then from behind we heard Ross running up to us

Ross: where's Laura?? Have yall seen Laura come out

We didn't say anything, Riker walked over to us and hugged Rydel

Rydel: are you okay? I was so scared something happened to you!

Riker: I'm fine, don't worry

Ross: Riker where's Laura?

Riker: she's....

Riker didn't say anything, he just looked at us for a while

Laura: right here

We all look behind riker and see her standing there smiling

Ross: Laura!!

He ran over to her and hugged her, he picked her up and kissed her, but she pulled away

Laura: what the heck?!

Ross put her down and scratched the back of his neck

Ross: sorry, I just missed you

Laura: if you missed me so much, why didn't you bother come looking for me?

Ross: I-I don't know, I didn't know where to look, besides I did look for you

Laura: but you didn't bother to keep looking for me ross, I was really hoping that you were going to be the one to save me, that you were gonna be my hero

Laura looked sad, she walked away over to cops

Riker: I'm sorry ross

Ross looked mad at him, what was going on?

Ross: this is your fault!

Riker: my fault? It's your fault! I didn't do anything, except come look for her and save her, did you even bother looking at her place?

Ross: yeah i did, and guess what I found?!

Riker: what?

Ross: a love note for you! From her!!

Ross walked away into the car, wow even more drama, great

Laura's pov
-before they were saved-
I was waiting for the pain to kick in, for me to drop on the floor but nothing happened, I opened my eyes and noticed I was still holding Rikers hand, I looked up at him but he didn't move he was just looking what was infront of him, I turned around and saw it

Laura: Omg....

It was Damiano, he was in the floor, and there was blood coming out of his head, he's d-dead...

Riker: Laura, are you alright?

Laura: n-no

I let go of Rikers hand and hugged him, I can't believe my dad killed himself, all of a sudden the police burst through the door with guns in their hands pointing at us, we put our hands up

Laura: help us!

They made sure the place was clear and put their guns away

Cop: Miss, what happened?

Laura: my dad...I mean Damiano tried to kill us

I pointed at his dead body, the cop nodded and grabbed a bag to put his body in, then I remembered Vanessa, I ran over to her she was in a bed, I looked at her, I can't believe it, I hope she was okay, they rushed her outside along with Damiano

Riker: let's go home Laura

Riker grabbed me by then hand and we started walking outside, but I let go of him, he continued walking and I just stayed inside ready to face the people who care about me

Rikers pov
Wow, she left me a love note? What does that mean? Does she still have feelings for me? I decided to give her some time before I asked her if she does, because her sister may or may not be alive and Damiano just killed himself she has to much on her plate right now

I hugged rydel one last time and told her I was gonna go see if Laura was okay, I walked over to her where she was telling the police what happened, once she was done I pulled her to the side

Riker: you okay?

Laura: not really, I just found out that my dad isint my dad, and "my dad" just killed himself, and my sister is injured, I hate that ross didn't care enough to look for me, I have mixed emotions about things and I just don't know...

I couldn't help it, I had to do it! I pulled her into a kiss, I softly kissed her soft and kissable lips, I pulled away and just looked at her

Riker: I-I'm sorry I don't know what got into me

She didn't say anything she just stood there starting at me

Riker: Laura, I understand if...

She ignored me and pulled me into another kiss, I smiled and kissed her back

Laura's pov
I think that I might have some feelings for Riker...Wow
