Laura's pov
I woke up and jumped out of bed, I can't believe that today's Prom!! The girls and I were gonna go to the salon at 1 in the afternoon so that we can get our nails and hair done. I just wanted my hair curled nothing to fancy. I brushed my teeth and changed I put on some shorts and a tank top with a sweater and converse. I walked downstairs grabbed a bowl of cereal and sat down next to Vanessa in the living room
Laura: what time did you come home?
Vanessa: 12:45
Laura: what?!
Vanessa: we had a little party, you know the end of season 3
Laura: sometimes I miss you, I miss having you home
Vanessa: why? your never home
Laura: because your never home
Vanessa: I know kid, I'm sorry
Laura: you don't have to be
Vanessa: how about we hang out today?
Laura: I can't prom.
Vanessa: oh yeah! how did he ask you
Laura: how do you know he asked me?
Vanessa: he's your boyfriend
Laura: ha, he spelled out prom with gas then light it up
Vanessa: aww how romantic!!
Laura: i know right!
Vanessa: who's going with who?
Laura: ross and maia. rocky and marie. kelly and ell. riker and I.
Vanessa: wait, kelly and ratliff are still together?
Laura: yeah why wouldn't they be?
Vanessa: uhh... I don't if I should tell you
Laura: tell me!!
Vanessa: -groans- fine, kelly told me that her and ratliff are starting to grow apart, and that she doesn't love him anymore
Laura: what? but ratliff is adorable!!
Vanessa: I know right, and that she was going to dump ratliff today
Laura: aww poor Ratliff
Vanessa: I know right
Laura: do you think she already did it?

I was in the kitchen eatinf my breakfast when there was a knock on the door Ratliff got up from the living room and answered it, it was Kelly
Ratliff: kells, what's up?
Kelly: Ratliff I need to tell you something
I didn't want to say anything, and decided to just go back to eating my fruit
Ratliff: you can tell me anything, whats wrong?
Kelly: I'm sorry ell
Ratliff: for what?

Kelly: geez rat your not making this any easier
