Laura's pov
We were all sitting in the couch, Marie, Rocky, Ross, Riker and me. I was trying to figure out what was going on because I just want to fix everything so that we can go back to being a weird but fun family!!
Laura: what's going on? I only left for an hour!
Rocky: Marie showed up again, but she won't tell me why she lied
Marie: it's not important!
Rocky: Then why do you want us to get back together?!
Marie: I miss you!
Rocky: no you don't! Back at the store you told me you wanted to talk in private remember? What was that about?
Laura: Marie, your acting strange
Marie: ok!! I guess you'll guys find out anyways, I have to admit this hasn't been easy....
Laura: Marie what's wrong?
Marie: I found out when Rocky and I broke up
Rocky: what? What is it?
Marie: I have...I have cancer
Rocky: w-what?
I looked at Marie like I didn't even know who she was, I was shocked
Laura: cancer?
Marie: yeah, and Rocky I really do love you! And I wanted to spend my last few months with you, you make me happy, you make me smile, you complete me
Rocky: h-how long do you have?
Marie: the doctor said that at least 2 months
Rocky: Marie, why didn't you tell me?
Marie: I-I didn't know how!
Rocky: Im sorry about all those things I said, I still do like you, I have feeling for you but, Scarlett...
Marie: Scarlett, of course yeah, i guess it's just that...you know what? Forget it, I'm sorry
Marie got up and walked out the door, Rocky sighed and got up and walked after her
Laura: now what's going on with your two?!
Ross and Riker just looked at me
Riker: I want you back Laura!
Ross: I believe she's taken!
Riker: it's not fair! She was mine first, I love her!
Ross: she chose me! She doesn't love you!
Laura: Ross!
I looked at both of them with anger
Laura: you both need to stop arguing!! We're not children anymore!
Rydels pov
Cancer? Marie has cancer!? I was walking downstairs and then i heard her, I ran back to my room where Ratliff was
Ratliff: what's wrong delly?
Rydel: she has cancer, Marie has cancer
Ratliff: what?...
Rydel: I heard them! I heard her telling Rocky and Laura downstairs!
I tried not to cry, why does this happen to us?
Rydel: why can't we just have a normal life? With no drama? No comas, no cancer, no anything!
Ratliff got up and hugged me, I cried into his shoulder, he started to run my back
