There's a phase shortly after Zara turns three months old when she absolutely refuses to go to sleep at night at all.

Which in turn keeps both of her parents awake as well.
She'll sleep like an angel throughout the day with minimum fuss but once it's night time she suddenly gets a surge of energy.
She'll gurgle loudly at the ceiling and the rotating toys and trinkets hanging above her crib, kicking and wriggling about.

Trying to catch her socked feet in her hands and giggling right at Zee's face every time he peeks inside the crib to try and coax her to sleep.
"Hey bunbun, aren't you tired?"
Zee speaks to her gently, begs even,
"Appa is so tired. I feel like my eyeballs will fall off."
He's only half joking.
Zara's only response is an innocent giggle, with her nose scrunching and round eyes turning into crescents.

Nu snorts from his perch on the rocking chair,
"Told you to go to sleep, Teerak. I'll be here with her."
But Zee refuses to leave them.
So all three of them proceed to stay awake night after night without a wink of sleep.
