𝐀s i stand in front of our front door, all I see is Baba's sleek black car. He is back.

Jake stands beside me sweating because he thinks baba will kill him if he see even a slightest of my wounds.

But it's not visible, I had it covered well with makeup and I'm pretty no body will catch on anything.

"I'm going to pee my pants" Jake says wiping a fake sweat of his forehead.

"Don't worry! Dead people can't pee"

"That's not helping!"

"Never said it would"

We walk to the front door and into the living room where I see my whole family just chilling there.

"Hi dad!" I greet him by hugging him.

"Hi sweetheart, you okay?"

I nod, "perfect"

"Good"

"Go and get freshen up both of you, your mom bought some Chinese takeout"

I practically rush to my rooma and so does Jake. After taking a shower and putting on some makeup on my bruise again, I run downstairs.

A while later after dinner, I sat on the bed just scrolling through some Instagram before I go to sleep. Baba walks in the room with a water bottle in his hand.

He stands beside me and I look at him with a confusing look. He hands me the water bottle and I ask him questionably, "I already had a jar of water for the night baba"

"This isn't for the night, drink it right now" he tells me.

"Right now?"

"Yes"

"But why?"

He signs, "When was the last time you drank water?"

"I just had dinner, so ofcourse I had water right now" I state

He shakes his head "No I meant, before that"

"Like two or three hours ago"

He sits down on the bed and ushers me to drink. I slowly start drinking little by little and be patiently waits for me. He has always been too protective for me. Mama told me how she lost two of her kids before me and being being her third and only child just makes baba too caring for me.

Sometimes I do feel really lonely, like I really need siblings.

I would have had two big siblings if only...

"Here in done" I say and hand over the empty to him.

"Next time! Do not forget to drink water no matter what, okay?" He warns me.

"Okay"

Then he gets up and plants a small kiss on my forehead and leaves after muttering a 'Good night'.
