𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟔| 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞

𝐈'𝐦 back home after a few hours of being in the hospital. The doctors gave me a few medicine and that the daily intake of water gas doubled to what it was already. My water intake was already too much and now it's more than that. That basically means drinking water all the time.

Mama helped me get onto my bed, pulled the covers over then left after she told me to relax. I haven't seen Kai and Jake. I need to assure him that I'm alright.

As if on cue, Jake peaked in my room. He looked at me then slowly the door opened more and there was my baby, hiding behind Jake's legs.

He slowly looked at me as Jake ushered him to get inside. I could say he was scared to come near me as he thought he would hurt me.

But I opened my arms wide and that ended the tensed situation. He came running towards me, jumped on the bed then into my arms. I hugged him tightly. Jake left the room, probably to give us some privacy.

My heart broke when I heard little sniffing coming from him. I tried pulling him away to look at him but he didn't Bulge and instead held me tighter.

"Kai, baby. I'm fine. See I'm okay. I'm okay" I assured him and after a few minutes of him sobbing, he finally let go.

"I thought you were going to die" he said in a low voice.
I chuckled, "No baby, I'm not. It was just a little but if pain. I'm perfectly fine now"

"You were crying. I don't like when you cry" he said vulnerably.

"I know and I promise I'll be fine now. You don't like to see me cry, don't you?"

He noded.

"Then you need to stop crying too or else I'll cry again and you don't want to see that don't you?" I wiped his tears from his cute chubby cheeks and hugged him to my chest again.

"Did you eat anything?"

He noded in my chest, "Yes, Jake fed me"

"Okay that's good. How about we take a nap together, hmm? Want to cuddle with me?"

He noded excitedly then held me tightly again. I laid down with him closely cuddled to me. I coverd ourselves with the warm duvet and slept.
