I immediately pick her up in bridal style and run for the exit. I panic when I see the door still intact. Immediately running towards it, I dodge around the people fighting who have now stopped to look at me. I put Athena on one of the tables and go to the door and try banging on it.
"How much more time do you need?" I yell to the people on the other side of the door but I don't hear anything back. The people are looking at me confused at my behaviour. Can't they see a passed out person? What are they confused for?
My banging comes on a halt when a loud noise erupts through the entire area and the door in front of me slowly opens with a loud noise. But I don't wait for it to open completely. I immediately go and pickup Athena and run outside.
"Sir, please co-operate, don't rush!" One of the members of the rescue team tries telling me.
"Move out of my way!" I yell at them.
"Sir please, this will be difficult for us. We'll take everyone to the hospital and so her"
"You don't have to when I'm already doing it" I shove him away and immediately run for my car. I relax when I see it at a distance, I push past people who have scattered around here like ants. Many ambulances and some other people of different occupations.
I place her in the passenger seat and strap her, then run for the driver's seat. I immediately start driving furiously especially when I see Athena's face turning more paler second by second. I drove to the nearest best hospital.

I ran with Athena in my arms inside the hospital.
A couple of workers who saw me rush in came with a trolley.
[A/N: the one in which patients are lied down and taken to different rooms. We call it trolley here]
They took her into one of the room with a doctor while I went to the receptionist.
"Hello! I would like to get someone admitted, where do I sign?" I ask her.
She hands me a paper and pen and says, "Are you family?"
"No"
"Them I'm sorry but we can't start the checkup" she tells me.
"What why?"
"Hospital policy. Atleast one family member is required or the patient's signature itself"
"The patient is literally passed out and I don't have her family's contact. Don't you think its wrong? Your policy can literally take away someone's life"
"Sir I can't do anything. This is the rule and I can't go against it"
I sign but take the paper to read in the details.
I fill in with her first name and age, the rest of the Medical questions, the nurses can check and fill it. I look over to the last section which says I need to sign in and write how I'm related to her.
The fact that I have to fill in her full name is what's more concerning but i can't let anything happen to her just because I'm not related to her.
So I sign and hesitate with my next step about the relation.
Hesitating I write and relation, brother.
I go back upto were her full name is supposed to be and fill it up with Athena Grasso since I don't know her full name.
I hand it back to her.
She nods and informs the doctor to start the check up.
Now I need to contact her family anyhow but for that I need to wait for her to wake up.

I woke and saw myself in a hospital room which is weird like how did I get here. I remember being in pain and Lorenzo was there giving me water but then I passed.
When the doctor saw I was awake, he went to get somebody. I'm pretty sure Mama and Baba aren't the ones here. I haven't contacted them.
Just what I thought, Lorenzo enters the room with the Doctor. They talk for some time and the doctor and nurse leave us for some privacy.
"How are you feeling?" He sits on the chair beside my bed.
"I'm okay, though I can still feel some pain"
"What actually happened to you? The doctor told me to get some of your earlier reports to them because they say it's emergency" he seems too intrigued.
Emergency?
"Yeah, I've had some problem since a child. You see when I was born, the doctors took me for some checkups where one of the doctors accidentally injected me with some liquid Arsenic. I never realised it did something to me since I grew up normally. But once when I was five. I started having this stomach pain all so suddenly which was really bad. I cried so much, my parents took me to the hospital and that is when they found that 68% of my Liver is filled with Liquid Arsenic and the doctors took it out through surgery but they couldn't take out all since some was dissolved in my Liver, the very minute particles and one of the ways to help it completely dissolve in my body is drinking water. My water intake because of that has always been more because if I don't drink more water, that Arsenic in my body can turn into solid with would be more dangerous since it will totally damage my Liver than it already it"
"So have you found any donor?"
"No! My parents tried there level best but they couldn't. Anyone with the same blood group can donote but they need to go through some tests to see if our organs match or not and till date I haven't matched with anybody"
"Can you give me your parents numbers so I can contact them and call them here with your previous reports to see what we can do? They must have also been really worried"
My eyes widen at hus statement. Calling my parents is important but then they'll meet Lorenzo. And he'll find out i was lying to him.
"Give me my phone. I'll call them!" I tell him and he hands me over my phone from his pocket. He then leaves to give me some privacy.
I dial Jake's number with only one thought in my mind.
