"𝐁aba?" I enter Baba's room.

He sits upright. "Athena. Hi! What is it?"

"Will you come with me to pick up Kai from School?" I ask him sweetly.

He immediately stands up, clearly nervous, "Of course sweetheart. Let me just change real quick."

I nod, "I'll wait for you downstairs."

I walk downstairs and sit on the couch and wait for him.

A few minutes later, he rushes down the stairs hurriedly.

"Lets go."

I nod and we walk outside to my car.

After we sit down, I start the car and once glance at baba.

He looks outside the car window, smiling to himself.

The car engine comes to life and off we go.

"Is Kai's school here?" Baba asks me in confusion.

Of course he'll ask. I'm driving by the edge of a hill.

The very same hill, I met Roman.

"Baba."

"Yes?"

"Relax. I'm not going to kill you."

"I know."

I nod then keep driving.

A few minutes later and he asks again.

"We are driving the same hill for the past half hour. Are we going in circles?"

I look in the rearview mirror, "We are."

"Why?" He whines.

"I'm just trying to know how you did it." I state.

"Did what?" He asks me cautiously.

"How did you manipulate people into your words?"

"What?"

"Am I not right baba? Till this date, this will what you have done. Manipulation.. making people believe your words.. making them go circles to your words. Hm?"

"I have no idea what you are talking about." He says grumpily.

"But I do." I say then abruptly stop the car ans glare at him. His body pushes forward due to the empact.

"I have a question for you. Can I ask?"

"Ye-yes."

"Do you love me?"

"Ofcourse I do!" He yells abruptly.

I shake my head at him. "Oh really? Who do you love? The daughter of Allessandro and Valentina Grasso or the replacement of your daughter?"
