Finding love again

Nebraska

Callie's POV:

   I rub my daughter's back softly to calm her down and all you can hear are Carol's loud sobs for her daughter.

  "Don't look. Don't look," Daryl tells her and begins pulling her away when she jerks away angrily from him then runs off crying.

   I watch after the grieving mother sadly. I walk over to Frank who still hasn't moved from his kneeling position.

   I carefully set my hand on his shoulder, "Frank." His shoulders shake indicating he's crying silently. My poor brother.

Crying made me look up finding Beth crying and walking over the pile of dead walkers. She jerks away from Rick who reached for her and carefully pushed a man walker off of a woman walker.

It begins snarling and my eyes widen as Beth scream when it grabs onto her. Frank springs up and runs over to help with the others.

Emma whimpers loudly and clutches the back of my shirt. Glenn grabs onto the walker's arms and Andrea swung a scythe, it embeds into the walker's head.

  She pulled it out and the walker falls to ground dead. I look around at all of the dead bodies with the exception of Sophia who's covered with a blanket.

This is so fucked up. The Greene family walked away to their house sadly. Following closely behind Shane stomps after them with Rick behind him.

  "Shit," I mutter and jog after them with Emma clutched tightly so she won't fall.

"We've been out. We've been combing these woods looking for her and she was in there all along? You knew," Shane spoke up angrily as he walks after them.

   "Leave us alone," Maggie sternly tells him and set her hand on Hershel's back.

  "Shane, just stop," I tell him firmly while Rick grabs ahold of his arm only for him to snatch his arm away from Rick.

  "Get your hands off me. You knew and you kept it from us," He continues ranting on following the poor grieving family.

"I didn't know," Hershel responds with his voice cracking making me frown sadly.

   "That's bullshit. I think y'all knew," Shane scoffs angrily with his fists clenched.

  "We didn't know!" Veronica yells at him as she holds onto Beth who's crying still.

  "Why was she there?!" Shane demands again not listening to anything they're telling him.

  "Shane, cut it out already," I sternly tell him and he just glares at me. Emma picks her head up and holds her arms out to Maggie who wasn't paying attention.

  "Otis put those people in the barn. Maybe he found her and put her in there before he was killed," Hershel informs him making Shane scoff loudly.

  "You expect me to believe that? Do I look like an idiot?" He responds with a humorless chuckle as he moves forward making Rick hold out his arm to stop him.

   "I don't care what you believe! Get him off my land!" Hershel angrily yells pointing at my brother who smirks angrily.

  "Let me tell you something, man," Shane says moving forward like he was gonna attack Hershel. I quickly set Emma down and told her to stay back then went to go help hold Shane back.

   "Hey," Maggie pushed him away then slapped him, "don't touch him!" I pulled Shane away roughly while moving in front of Maggie who looks around me to look at him.

  "Haven't you done enough?" She sternly says and I stare down Shane who's gaze switched from hers to mine.

   "I mean it. Off my land," Hershel says in a final tone before walking up the steps making me close my eyes briefly at that.
