The princess had a last-minute request before they abandoned the yacht. She went back to get a pink quilted baguette handbag, prompting Ning and Karina to exchange eye rolls and mutter, "Typical royalty behavior." Wyatt, on the other hand, just laughed it off, finding it very much in line with Camila's character.
As the speedboat sped away from the yacht, the atmosphere inside turned into a quirky mix of tension and amusement.
Ning couldn't help but shoot piercing glares at Wyatt, who responded with smirks and decided to take a seat right next to Karina. She seemingly derives endless joy from getting on Ning's nerves.
Agent Yizhuo couldn't believe her bad luck – being forced to play nice with this annoying naevis.
Meanwhile, Karina was trying her best to maintain their course, steering the boat with a determination that matched her insistence that they follow Princess Camila's possibly drunken, definitely dubious directions. Camila drifted in and out of consciousness and sporadically offered slurred and doubtful-sounding directions to a supposed glass house hidden beyond the beach. Was the safe house real, or just a hallucination brought on by too many tequila shots? Nobody cared, as long as they had something they could go on with.
Ning couldn't help but shoot another sharp look at Wyatt, who sat comfortably near the boat's steering wheel. "Are we seriously following this princess on what could be a wild goose chase?" Her concern seemed less about the accuracy of the safe house information and more about the naevis who was attempting to cozy up to her superior.
"Why? Do you have a plan more brilliant than following a tipsy princess, Agent Yizhuo Don't be shy, let's hear it," Wyatt retorted with a sarcastic tone, leaning in closer to imply she was all ears.
Ning gave Wyatt a piercing look and deadpanned, "Can I please shoot her?" Her gaze remained fixed on the naevis, fingers itching for her weapon.
Karina, the peacemaker, chimed in, "That's enough, you two." She skillfully steered to the left, attempting to leave the pursuers behind.
Karina's expertise behind the wheel paid off, and they managed to shake off the remaining naevises. They left the empty speedboat running as they rushed out, allowing it to speed off in a different direction to throw off their pursuers.
