"His sister's keeper"
season 01, episode 06Berlin went back to hers and Octavia's tent after her talk with Finn. He was furious with her and she understood why. She was a murderer, just like Finn said. She wasn't sure if he was ever going to forgive her for what she did.
Berlin couldn't help but wonder where Octavia was. She hadn't seen her in a couple hours. Her thoughts were interrupted by Bellamy opening the flap of the tent and stepping inside. "Hey, sorry to interrupt. Are you okay?"
Berlin looked up at him with red puffy eyes and shook her head as she diverted the question. "Have you seen Octavia?"
Bellamy shook his head as his eyes glanced around the tent. "I was gonna ask you the same question."
"Bellamy, I haven't seen her since this morning." Berlin said standing up as worry fills her chest. "We have to find her."
"We will." He says and walks out of the tent with her following behind him. Bellamy and Berlin did a double check of the camp and Octavia was not there. Bellamy had gathered a group of people to go and help look for her. "Hey everyone, gather around and grab a weapon. My sister has been out there alone for 12 hours. Arm up. We're not coming back without her."
Berlin instantly was the first to grab a weapon. She paused when a hand touched her arm and looked up before shaking her head. "Bellamy, don't you dare tell me to stay back. She's my best friend and I'm going out there to find her."
"I know." He said surprising her, letting her continue to grab a weapon and gear up. "Just don't do anything stupid while we're out there. I also want you to know before hand that we need a tracker." Berlin nodded her head, she knew what that meant, it meant that Finn was coming. "Finn, get out here! Finn!"
"I'm coming!" Finn shouted and darted out of the tent he was in. His eyes caught Berlin and a glare was sent her way but Berlin shoved it down. Octavia was out there alone and she had to find her.
The group all gathered and murmured as they looked up at the sky to see what looked like a meteor shower but Berlin knew that it wasn't. "They didn't work." Raven said making Berlin feel sick to her stomach. She did that. She killed all those people. "They didn't see the flares."
Bellamy rushed forward when Berlin stumbled back on her feet and caught her to steady her. "A meteor shower tells you that?" He asked looking over at Raven as his hands secured Berlin's waist.
"It's not a meteor shower." Clarke started but Berlin finished it, "it's a funeral. Hundreds of body's being returned to the earth from the ark. This is what it looks like from the other side."
"This is all because of you!" Raven marched forward towards Bellamy, for her, it was easier to blame him than blame her friend. Raven could also see the guilt and heartbreak that Berlin felt right now and even last night. She didn't have the heart to yell at her some more after Finn did.
"I helped you find the radio." Bellamy argued as Finn and Clarke held Raven back.
"Yeah, after it was jacked and trashed." Raven shouted, her body urging to rush forward.
"Yeah, they know and now she has to live with it." Clarke said with her own glare pointed at Berlin.
"All I know is that my sister is out there and I'm gonna find her." Bellamy said before looking at Finn. "You coming or what?" Finn nodded and Bellamy wrapped his hand around Berlins waist and guided her out past the gate.
