Always Has Been You

Six

I've never in my life had such an hectic day, firstly I was late to my Eight am class because my stupid alarm didn't go off, so I had to rush to shower, get ready and head off.

Then at lunch, the cafeteria didn't have my favourite Mac and cheese. Barbara wasn't in today, so I couldn't tell her how truly disappointed I was with her, In the end I ended up having a burger with a few fries.

The burger was dry and the fries too hard and crunchy.

Then a bunch of groupies tried joining our table, I really wasn't in the mood to entertain them today, although Chad happily took them under his wing flirting with each and every one of them. 

Then we had a long as fuck practice and once that was finished, coach made a few of us stay behind to explain a couple things for our upcoming game— what he expected from us, what he didn't expect, he even went as far as telling us if fuck up anything he's benching us, which was an empty threat but we took him seriously.

So to say I was exhausted by the time we reached the house would be an understatement, walking up to my room I type the code in on the door and enter walking straight towards the shower.

After taking a nice long relaxing shower, I stepped out, dried myself off and put grey sweats on with a white shirt.

I walked over to my desk and decided to start doing some studying, we have exams coming up soon and I couldn't risk failing any because no way am I getting benched this season and that's something coach has done to me before when I failed my English exam in freshman year, I was benched for three games and absolutely hated it.

After an hour or so studying I close my text book and head downstairs in search of water and food. As I make my way into the kitchen I spot Nina, Payton and Lilly talking with Hunter and Grayson.

Looking around I search for Rose but my eyes can't seem to locate her, she texted me earlier asking if I wanted to hook up but coach made us stay behind and I didn't know how long he would keep us for so I didn't want to risk it.

Nodding at the girls in greeting, I grab a bottle of water out the fridge and lean against the counter practically downing it.

The front door slams shut, all our heads turn in the direction to see Chad and Matthew walking into the kitchen.

"Hey ladies." Chad wiggles his eyebrows in their direction. "I just saw your final puzzle piece."

"Huh?" Payton asks confused.

"Ava." He says in a duh tone. "She's at Jinx, who knew she could dance like that?"

"Did she seem ok?" Payton asks, a slight worry in her voice.

"More then ok." Chad laughs. "I'm One hundred percent sure she's getting laid tonight."

"Lucky for some." Matthew chimes in.
