The room exuded a faint glow from the muted television, casting a subtle ambiance over Jada as she slouched on the worn couch.

Her fingers danced across the phone screen, a soft glow illuminating her face with each scroll. As small laughter escaped her lips harmonized with the distant hum of the television.

The living room was dimmed and quite as the only thing that was heard was the television until she heard who she assumed ash and fez coming back from a deal hearing the door slam shut.

"Fuck off" Ash was heard furiously running up the stairs as another door was slammed causing Jada to turn her head and furrow her eyebrows in confusion at fez who shrugged in response looking a bit hopeless.

As he walked further into the room Jada could see a skinny figure following him, seeing a pale blond girl standing next to him, her eyes wandered across the room smiling at Jada who waved at her.

"What happened?" Jada asked curiously referring to her boyfriend who had just thrown a 'tantrum'.

"I told him that Faye had to live with us for a while, he wasn't so happy" the ginger explained referring to the blond girl earning an understanding nod from Jada.

"His being dramatic" Jada scoffed causing a snigger to leave Fez's lips as Faye walked up to the couch Jada was sat on sitting opposite her.

"I'm Faye, what your name?" The girl asked looking over at Jada who smiled and introduced herself. "I'm Jada" .

Faye nodded in response glancing over at the tv. "Do you wanna watch something" the curly head offered as Faye nodded her head grabbing the remote, putting on some show.

Jada sat watching with her for a while, until she then decided to check up on her drama queen. She stood up and walked upstairs, knocking at the door, but receiving no response.

She then welcomed herself in seeing the boy sat on the edge of his bed scrolling on his phone.
"You good?" Jada asked laying down on his bed as he shook his head in frustration.

"Come here," the girl whispered, her arms enveloping her boyfriend in a warm hug. As she embraced him, she ran her nails along his back with a gentle touch, a soothing caress aimed at easing the tension that had gripped his nerves.

"Ion like that botched lip bitch" the boy mumbled
"What do you mean she seems really sweet" Jada frowned.

"I could care less ion want that bitch up in my crib" ash mumbled once again earning a sigh from Jada who knew she couldn't change the way he viewed her.

"Don't you think your being a bit dramatic"
"Fuck no would you want a fucking prostitute up in your home" the boy threw a snarky remark as his tone was laced with annoyance.

"Okay damn calm the fuck down" Jada said rolling her eyes at him grabbing his tv controller and scanning through movies to watch.

The girl chose "grown ups 2" making ashtray sigh in annoyance as she always picked that movie to watch.

"Damn if you don't wanna watch it, you don't need to," Jada scoffed, as she rolled her eyes.

The flickering light from the television reflected the tension in the room as Ash remained silent hoping not to cause a fight.

As the two sat cuddled up 'enjoying' the movie, Jada could see how Ashtrays phone had lit up a few times since they had started watching.

Which made her glance leave the tv time to time in suspicion. He didn't bother to pick it up though.

She then nudged him a bit "aren't you gonna pick up your phone". He shook his head resting it on her chest again.

The phone kept on lighting up until it rang. Ashtray grabbed his phone silencing the call and putting it down again.

"Pick up the damn phone, Ashtray," Jada demanded, her gaze fixed on him. "Why?" Ash mumbled, his nonchalant tone raising suspicion.

"Why not?" the girl replied, her eyebrows furrowing as she became increasingly wary of the boy's response.

"Ashtray pick up the damn phone" Jada demanded pushing his body of her. "Why you always gotta be like this" the boy complained.

"The fuck do you mean by that?" Jada questioned, rising from his bed with a furrowed brow. He instinctively reached out, clasping her hand in an attempt to prevent her from leaving.

"I didn't mean it like that, ma, and you know it," he explained, gently pulling the girl towards him. Despite his reassurance, she withdrew her hand.

"Ima head out " she scoffed leaving his room pissed of. Her over thinking began once again.
What if he was talking to someone else, she wouldn't be shocked if he was, he was once known as a play boy after all.
