I can't help gettin' caught up in it all

Based on this prompt:

Hey swettie, what about the "I'm ready to break things", prompt, for Carlando, in a jelousy way👁️

Why did they have to be together wherever he looked?

Even on his phone he wasn't safe.

Charlos this, Charlos that..... The internet was full of it.

Carlos' stupid "we come as a package." following him everywhere.

Why had he never said that about them when he was still at McLaren?

He was just so sick of it.

Yes, he was jealous. But he'll deny that for as long as he lives.

"What's crawled up your ass?" Max asks Lando, when the Brit puts down his phone on the table a lot harsher than he probably should.

"Nothing," Max raises his eyebrows to the other's answer. "I'm fine."

"Yeah, I can tell."

There's a silence in which Max just waits. Waits until Lando is ready to talk about it.

"I'm ready to break things."

Max doesn't know if he should laugh or not.

"Things?"

"Yeah, you know..."

"No, I don't. Be more specific."

"Preferably Charles' face or something."

Max blinks a few times, letting those words sink in.

A grin spreads across his face, "you're jealous."

"What? No---"

"Yes. You are."

Lando huffs out something unintelligible, then picks up his phone and starts scrolling again.

Max, for once, luckily leaves it at that and leaves him alone to silently fume by himself.

"Tell me when I need to take you to the hospital."

Lando's head whips around when he hears that very familiar voice with that equally familiar accent. Why does he sound so amused though?

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"I heard you were going to break things. I was just wondering if it was your leg, or your arm. Maybe your hand. From breaking my teammate's face?"

Damn you, Max.

"That's not---I didn't---"

"I saw Charles' face is still whole, so I know you didn't."

Lando rolls his eyes.

"Very funny."

"You're kind of cute when you're jealous."

Lando wants to protest, he really does, but then he feels Carlos wrap his arms around him and he just can't. He's incapable.

"I'm not jealous."

Carlos' chuckle against his ear makes Lando shiver.

"Don't worry. You're still my only one."

That's all he really needed to hear.
