Imposter

I wake up with my bedroom door open to which I don't normally leave it open, So I get up and close it again. Ughhh i have nothing to do, I think then sigh and put my arm over my face.

I get out of bed and grab some cute clothes that I can go out in, then change my clothes and head to my bathroom. I brush my teeth and hair, then check myself and go downstairs.

I grab a granola bar out of the cabinet, then decide that I'm running low on food so I should go to the store. I quickly pull out my phone and text Ethan,

I'm heading out the the store so don't come by for breakfast yet.

Then I grab my car keys walk out. Once I get outside, I smile at the amazing weather and nice breeze in my hair. I hop into the drivers seat and take off, a 7 minute drive ahead of me.

Once I finally pull in the parking lot, I get out and head inside slowly. Once I'm almost done getting all my stuff, I see Eli in the isle I'm passing and I stop. When I look, he's getting trashbags. And cleaning supplies.

"Must be doing your annual house clean", I say walking up to him.

"O-oh y-yeah", he says surprised to see me here.

I smile and say, "so how have you been the past few days?. I'm sorry about that little incident the other day".

"I've been good, and that really isn't your fault".

We both laugh and continue talking to each other while shopping for our stuff, soon we both head to the checkout line and pay separately. He walks me to my car and helps me get my bags in my passenger seat, then goes to his own car.

I wave goodbye to him then start the car and get ready to pull out. Right after I put my car in drive Eli walks back up so I roll my window down.

"Hey I never actually gave you my number", he says and laughs.

"True, we've always just kinda showed up".

He holds out his phone, so I grab it and put my number in. When I go to the home screen, it looks like a brand new phone with no already made contacts. I just ignore it and hand his phone back to him.

"Okay, I'll text you later y/n", he says.

When he smiles, it's only then that I notice his black lip piercing an defined jaw line, just like Ethan's, I think.

"Okay, bye!", I reply and wave.

He walks away and I finally pull out of the parking lot, soon getting home. I pull up to my house and bring the groceries in slowly, then put them up. I pull out my phone to text Ethan and say,

I just got back, I'm starting breakfast now.

Then I grab some clean dishes from my dishwasher, and some uncooked bacon and eggs that I bought and start to prep it.

After about 5 minutes, the food is ready to start, so I start it. After I finish putting everything in its place, I feel hands snake around my waist from behind and I smile to myself then turn around.

"Missed you Ethan ", I say.

"Mmmm, I bet I missed you more~".

I feel him smile into the back of my neck so I can tell he doesn't have his mask on.

I laugh a little and try to turn around, but he covers my eyes with his hand, showing he actually does have his mask off.

"Don't even try it, darling~", he chuckles.

"Ughhh fine", I pout.

We continue standing infront of the cooking food with his hands around my waist, but then my phone goes off.

I flip the phone over and see that ethan texted me saying,

I'll be there in 10.

I slowly put my phone down and ghostface slips his mask back on and backs up off me, chuckling.

"You really thought I was Ethan. How sad~. Youre just too easy to mess with."... He says before adding, "darling~", to mess with me.

I quickly turn around and instinctively lift my leg up to kick him back, but he scoots back just out of range and laughs.

"Slow down, I'm just here to mess around with you. I won't kill you. Yet. Well, I better go before your little boyfriend gets here.", mystery ghostface says then walks out.

I just sit there in utter defeat. I let him touch my waist and call me darling, ugh, this whole situation just makes me so mad.

Soon, Ethan jumps through the back window of my house. I quickly finish dinner.

"Hey Ethan... You're Ethan right?", I say wearily

"Why wouldn't I be?"

"Okay.. I think you're Ethan so I'll explain everything to you", I reply.

I start putting our breakfast on to plates and he rubs his hands together happily at the smell.

After we've both eaten a little bit, I explain what happend when I was cooking and how I thought the other ghostface was him. Ethan gets a little angry, but I say it okay since he didn't actually hurt me.

Soon, we both finish our food and I put our dirty dishes in the dishwasher.

We go sit down on my couch then and snuggle up, I turn on Netflix for some entertainment while cuddling.

I put my face into his chest, taking in the smell of cinnamon that I love so much.

Hey guys, I just wanted to say sorry for changing up my writing style so much lol. This is my first story so I'm just exploring but I think the way i wrote on this chap is what I will always use.
Also, I think the story might be coming to an end soon. I'm not sure what I will do next, maybe ghost from task force 141 but idk.
