Moving Day

I smiled over the boxes looking at my kids and Wife knowing today is the first day of many in our new house, we pick up the boxes and help move them into the van i Meet eyes with my wife giving her a smile "You ready for this new chapter babe" I ask giving her a kiss "I can't wait" she says smiling at me "A little help over here you two love birds" Layla says causing us to laugh "I don't find it funny your both slacking" She says giggling "Oh are we" Ella says which makes me smile "Two right mother" Layla says which makes us both smile "Fine well come and help" I say which makes her smile "Thank you Papa" she says knowing i hate when she calls me that. "Ugh it's dad" I say which makes her laugh "Fine a little help over here dad" she says which makes me smile "Thank you" I say before helping move the remander of the boxes to the moving truck. "Right is that everything?" I say looking at Ella who smiles "Yeah that's everything" she says smiling at me, The guy gets out of the van "Right I'll be hitting the road then have a safe journey I'll see you at the new house" the man says closing the door on the van and then getting in "Let's go get the kids" Ella says looking at me "Okay then" I say "Layla, Millie come get in the car were going now" I shout up they both come running down the stairs "Goodbye house" Millie says as we head outside We get in the car and begin to drive "Shall we pick the twins up from my mums on the way?" Ella says smiling "Yeah let's go get our little cuties" I say "Erm. Favouritism" Layla says causing me to smile "I don't have favourite I love you all equally" I say which makes her giggle "Lier" She says while giggling. We pick the twins up and then continue out journey "It was nice of your mum agreeing to have the twins last night" I say smiling at Ella "Yeah it was definitely helped us a lot" she says smiling. "Were nearly here" Layla exclames happily "You excited" Ella asks "Hell yeah mother" she says "Hey language" Ella replys "Sorry" Layla says which makes me laugh "I need the toilet mummy" Millie says "Were nearly here" I say looking at millie "I can't hold it daddy" She says looking at me "Well its a good job were here then isn't it" I say which causes Millie to look out the window "I love it" she says grinning. We parked the car in the drive and watched as we all got out to look at the new house "It's perfect" I say smiling, It's a big old house that looks amazing the circular windows looked perfect "It looks like a castle daddy" Millie says "I know it's perfect" I say smiling. Ella opens the door and looks at Millie "Come on then let get you to the toilet" She says Millie runs over to Ella grabbing her hand as the dissappear into the house, Layla grabs Abigail from the car and passes her to me she than grabs Alex and holds him as we make our way into the house, The moving men are already here and moving boxes into the house "Wow it's stunning" Layla says looking at me "I know you would like it" I say smiling "Needs a redecoration thought this wallpaper looks like it's from the 1980's" Layla says making me giggle "Boo" Me and Layla jumped "Uncle Colby" Layla says giving him a hug "Hi colby" I say smiling Layla then gives Colby Alex "Good job your here you can have him now" she says smiling "I'm going to claim my bedroom" she says running off upstairs "Any room but the first one of the right that's mine and your mother's room" I say she shouts back "okay" and then I hear her footsteps dissappear. "This is a beautiful house Sam" Colby says smiling at me "We do have a guestroom anytime you fancy coming over" I say which makes him smile "Thanks bro" he says. He then looks over at me "So what are we going to do with the babies?" He asks looking down at Alex "Well it is time for there nap so if you take Abigail for me I'll go get the pop up crib for now" I say Colby smiles "Sure thing sam" he says taking Abigail into his free arm I smile as I go out to the car and grab the crib and bring it in "Shall we set it up in the livingroom" Colby says "Yeah that's perfect" I say Ella smiles "Hi Colby, Are you getting them ready for there nap?" She asks "Yeah we are" Colby replys as I try to sort the pop out crib out she laughts "You always struggle with that don't you" Ella says "Yeah i do" I say scratching my head "Here let me do it" she says taking the crib out of my hand and she begins to pull it out "Sorted" she says making me smile "Thanks babe" she says Taking Abigail out of Colby hands and placing her down Colby does the same with Alex and then they both fall asleep making me smile "There so cute" I whisper trying not to wake them up "Found my room Mum and Dad" Layla says smiling from the door "Which one are you going for?" I ask she smiles "The front room on the left it's a big room and I get a beautiful view" she says smiling "Okay then it's all yours" Ella says "Uncle Colby can you help me take my boxes to My room please" she says smiling "Of course I will" He says as they both leave the room. "Wheres Millie?" I ask looking at Ella "Oh she wanted to explore so I let her go upstairs" Ella says "Oh okay" I say smiling "I love you babe" I say giving her a kiss on the head "I love you too" She says smiling. "This is the new start we've been after a new chapter I'm so proud of you" I say giving her a kiss "I'm just glad we're all together" She says smiling. "Mummy Daddy can I have the front room please opposite sissy room?" Millie asks looking at me "Of course you can" I say smiling "Thank you I'm gonna go tell Harley" She says excitedly "Hold on sweetie who's Harley?" I ask "My friend" she says excitedly "She probably just imaginary" Ella says looking at me "Yeah maybe" I say back smiling. "Let's go get unpacked" Ella says smiling at me "Let's" I say. As I set the baby camera up. We make our way upstairs.
