I woke up, to hear crying coming from Layla bedroom I decided to get out of bed to see if everything okay I knock on the door "Layla can I come in?" I ask no response I open the door anyway surely me being concerned is a good enough reason she not here, her bathroom doors closed I knock on the door "Layla is everything okay?" I ask her I can hear her crying "Is it about your mum because she getting help she will be back home soon" I say trying to comfort her "Just leave me alone" she says which catches me by surprise "You know I can't do that?" I say "Just let me do this" She says which concerns me even more "Do what Layla ?" I say panic beging to set in "Layla what are you doing?" I ask again no answer "Layla I'm coming in" I say kicking the door in, That's when I see her a bottle of pills in her hand "No Layla" I say running over to her and taking them out of her hands "Your going to be okay" I say taking her into my arms as I feel tear leave my eyes "Why ?" I ask her she begins to cry even more "I can't take it anymore I want my mum everyone at school calling her crazy there saying I'm going to be crazy too, everyone knows what she did and they don't understand I'm an outcast now all my friends avoid me they hate me now its not fair" She says crying into my arms "Not everyone hates you and everyone they will come round they will have something new to gossip about next week and if they where your real friends they wouldn't care about what's happened they would be there for you" I say she lays her head on my shoulder "Have you taken any of these ?" I ask she shakes her head "Where did you get them from?" I ask she looks at me now "The cabinet in dad's room" she says "Okay" I say holding her closer to me, "Are you sure you haven't taken any ?" I say "I may of took one " She says causing me to panic I took my phone out and called Sam. "What do you want ?" He calls walking towards my room "I'm with Layla in her room" I call out as I see his shadow making its way over to Layla room "What's wrong?" He asks seeing us both cry "Call a Ambulance and tell them Layla taken one of these" I say handing him the bottle, He does as I say he calls the ambulance and when he hangs up he walks over to us "What have you done Layla?" He asks looking at her "Something stupid" she says beginning to cry again "Why baby girl" he says pulling her into his lap "I wanted it all to stop dad that's all I just wanted the girls at school to stop being mean and I just want my mum" she says which makes me want to cry "I'm sorry sweetheart i know it hard now mum not here but I'm going to be here okay and uncle Colby he isn't going anywhere and when mum better she can come home to us" Sam says which makes me want to cry "So I haven't scared Uncle Colby off then" Layla says which makes me laugh "You need to try harder than that" I say which makes her smile. "I'll stay here with the kids if you want to go to the hospital with her but you need to keep me updated okay Sam" I say he nods his head "Of course I'll keep you updated thank you Colby for everything" he says, before the ambulance staff let them selves in and take Layla to the hospital with her dad

I finally get a text from Sam She fine there letting her go but they want us to keep an eye on her.
