"I think we should get the house cleaned" I say looking at Colby "Yeah that might be a good idea aspecially after what happened with Ella" He says it still hurts when they mention what she did but I'm standing by her she my wife and I love her "So I was wondering if you would take the kids for me while I do it I mean Layla at school and so is Millie so it's only the twins and then you can bring them back say about 3" I say smiling "I'll tell you what I'll pick Layla and Millie up on the way to drop the twins back" Colby says smiling "Thank you" I say to my best mate as he picks up the twins car seats and puts them into his car I put the twins in there seats "Thank you again" Colby I say smiling "No problem mate" he says as I shut the car door and watch him drive away, a few minutes later I see a car pull into the drive its the professional I hired to sort the house out we went around sorting it all out. "Thank you for doing this" I say as he leaves "Have a great day" he says. The house feels diffrent now like it's warmer I look out of the window and see the kids and Colby getting out of the car I open the door and Smile "Your home" I say which makes them all smile "We certainly am" Colby says picking up Alex I walk over to the car and pick up Abigail "Daddy guess what at school today I learned how to read a clock I know what time it is" she says smiling sweetly at me "That's amazing sweetheart I'm so proud of you" I say giving her a kiss she runs into the house "How was school Layla?" I ask realising just how quite she is "Fine I guess" she says looking at me "Yeah we need to talk to you about that" Colby says causing concern to grow Layla just walks off "No you don't Layla, Go in the kitchen and wait for me and your dad" Colby says I watch her walk into the house "Colby" I say almost in shock "What we need to talk to her" He says "Is it bad ?" I ask him "Yeah" he says back we bring the twins inside putting them down in there play pen while we make our way over to the kitchen Layla sat at the table looking sad "Hey sweetheart" I say she gives me a light smile "So does anyone want to tell me whats happened today?" I ask "Layla" I say looking at her she just shrugs her shoulders "Colby" I say he nods his head "When I went to pick Layla up they told me they had tried calling you about a incident that happened today involving Layla and another pupil now they wouldn't tell me who but Layla got in a fight with someone at school today and let's just say the other girl got hurt and so layla in detention and isolation for the next week" Colby says "Layla, What happened?" I asked she shrugged again "I've already asked her Sam she won't say I told the teacher it's not like her but they said that layla won't talk to them and the other girl not saying what the fight was about so she has to punish Layla she has no chose" Colby says looking as upset about it as me. "Layla tell me what going on?" I ask "She's a bitch that's why keeps going on about how perfect her life is she needs pegging down a bit so I knocked some sence into the witch and it worked she won't be talking anymore shit anytime soon I can tell you that" Layla says causing Colby to gasp and me to be shocked "Layla Skye Golbach, we do not use that kind of language in this house and we do not hit people" I say refusing to get angry at her "Layla you can't just hurt people because they have a perfect family or because you think there a witch" Colby says trying to reinforce what I just said "Too late already done and don't think I'm apologising even because I'm not she got what she deserves so" Layla says getting up from the table and walking away. "I don't know Sam I've got a feeling there more that she not telling us about" Colby says "Yeah you might be right what does she mean by talking shit?" I ask looking at him "Kids can be so cruel aspecially girls you don't know what they've been saying to her and even the nastiest comment will set Layla off right now so much has happened in the last couple of days she just needs us" Colby says "That's why I didn't shout or get angry because I know my daughter and because of everything that's going on I'm finding it hard to wrap my head around all of this so God knows what layla thinking" I say Colby nods his head at me "With that being said I was wondering if you would move in with us to be close to help me at the moment so that Layla has both of us you said it yourself she needs us" I say he smiles at me "Of course I will, I will be more than happy to come and stay with you it might even help Layla out as well" Colby says giving me a hug. "I don't know what I would do without you" I say he hugs me back "Same goes to you" he says.
