It has been 3 years, Dipper and Mabel are now 15. Life is normal in Gravity Falls, the Mystery Shack still in operation. The only difference is that Wendy has left for college.
"Admit it, you miss her!" Mabel poked Dipper's shoulder and smiled.
"NO I DON'T! UGH, just go away!' he pushed her to the floor and took out his journal, and continued reading, onto his job of uncovering the secrets of Gravity Falls.
Mabel laughed and shook her head.
"Just don't get too into it, okay Dipper?" she said and left.

A year has passed, things have changed once again. Their 16th birthday has passed. After years, Dipper has taken the hints from the journals and gradually, he has pieced together his theories, one by one, one by one.
(btw, mabel and pacifica are now close friends and candy and greta have left gravity falls)
*one fine day*
"Oh my gosh, Mabel, look!" he said with bated breath as Mabel looked at his wall of theories.
"Uh, is our Earth exploding soon? Because I see this drawing of Earth exploding. Dipper did you draw this? " Mabel cocked her head and laughed after looking at a picture of the earth exploding in half.
She tried to take the drawing and observe it closely.
Dipper slapped his twin sister's hand away.
"Don't touch my masterpiece!" he smiled. "It's okay if you don't understand, after all, only people like me understand things like these. HA."
Mabel brushed his remark away. "Whatever! Come let's go, Pacifica is waiting for us, she invited us over to her house to have fun."
She dragged her brother along, but he hesitated.
"Pa-Pacifica?"
Mabel almost thought she saw the pink tinge in his cheeks.
"Oh my, Dipper, do you like-"
Without finishing, he was out of the room. Mabel stared at his disappearing figure.
Could it be true? Mabel decided to probe on this further on a later date. Now, she had to observe her brother quietly, to see if her suspicions were correct. Smiling, she left the room, closing the door behind her.

Somewhere further up, or maybe, somewhere not in existence, but in the dream realm, Bill Cipher watched the twins as they hopped into the car.
Hmm not bad, he thought to himself, the mystery twins have grown up well, Pine Tree now has a good built, not bad, not bad, not as weak as before. While as for Shooting Star, Bill hesitated for a while. She has grown, well taller over the years, her legs have gotten longer and more toned, wow.
(PS: Pine Tree is his nickname for Dipper, Shooting Star for Mabel)
He looked away immediately, ashamed of himself. He was a demon, not some hormonal teenager.
(Actually, according to demon years, or even in his human form, he is a teenager too, but just a few years older than the mystery twins.)
When he was sure the mystery twins have driven away, he continued on his mission and zoomed into their room. The reason why Bill was here in the first place was of Dipper's theories.
Bill took a while to decipher what Dipper was writing as he stood there, in his triangle form, hovering above the floor. A while later, he stood up and started to examine the drawings more closely.
"Oh no," he muttered to himself. He had always thought he was kind of dumb.
Guess he was wrong. He has successfully pieced the puzzle.
In a frantic attempt, he started messing up his wall of theories.
He shook his head.
No, Pine Tree would still find out the truth one day.
Bill knew that he had to do something else. Something major. Something that he could do that can make him willingly give up his journal and all that for the matter...
He smiled and chuckled evilly as the great plan appeared in his head.
