*cheesy music playing in background*

They arrived less than a second later in a pizza restaurant, still holding hands.

Mabel was impressed.

"Teleporting is great! I didn't even feel a thing and now after just a second we are here! Wow," there was an excited twinkle in her eyes.

Bill couldn't help but felt proud of himself for making Mabel feel that way, with that shimmer in her hazel brown eyes. Her eyes are really pretty, he thought, looking at her from such a close angle.

Mabel continued looking around in wonder. "Wow, where are we? Is this a place of illusion or is this a real place?"

Bill laughed.

"We are in Italy, Shooting Star, this place exists."

She laughed along. She probably looked stupid asking all these questions.

Then one thought struck her mind."Can they see us? I mean like you have yellow hair, yellow everything, you stand out from the rest and we just arrived in the middle of nowhere, won't they feel alarmed?"

He shook his head.

"I play at illusions! We are of course, invisible! Oh right, let's take a seat,"

He looked around, spotting an empty corner in the restaurant.  With a wave of his cane, a table for two appeared, with a steaming pizza on the table. They walked over, and all the while Mabel didn't even notice that they were still holding hands. Only when they had reached did she let go, clearly embarrassed.

He smiled, before pushing the chair for her to sit. "I see humans do this all the time," he shrugged.

After she sat down he sat at his seat.Mabel looked at the pizza awkwardly. Pepperoni.

"Is it a coincidence that my favourite pizza is also pepperoni or what?" she looked at the demon, who had mind reading abilities, sneering.

He shrugged and acted innocent.

Mabel already knew the answer anyway so she decided to just shrug it off too.

Helping herself, she took a slice and took a huge big slice of pizza, with the long trail of cheese trailing behind, making her mouth water as she looked at it. She was enjoying her pizza slice, after all, it was made by the professional chefs here in this restaurant.

It was only a moment before she realised...  She was the only one eating, Bill was just looking at her.

Suddenly she felt really awkward.

"Eh, aren't you eating?"

He looked at the remaining pizza and suddenly, a slice disappeared.

"I'm full!" he proclaimed.

"That's it? Can you even live without eating?"

He nodded his head, "Well, I remember-" he hesitated.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the table, Mabel acted like she didn't hear him clearly. "Huh? What did you just say?" Now it was up to him, did he want to reveal his past? It all depended if he trusted her enough.

Bill looked at her.

Should he tell her? If he did, she would be the first person he ever confided in. There should be no harm in telling her, right?

"A few thousand years ago," Mabel looked up, "I was a human okay? A normal human, like everyone else. I had a normal happy family, life was hard, everyone worked hard to earn a living."He looked up to see Mabel looking curiously at him, spurring him to continue. He rolled his eyes and continued."So I had a group of close friends, the 4 of us grew up together. So we were quite tight. Then one day, one of them came up to me, looking really panicked. They said that one of my friends needed help. I rushed there immediately only to see that one friend of my mine being possessed. He had those dark red eyes and black fire around him. Below him was this really old book and then my friends didn't know what to do so they asked me for help since I read this spell magic book thing and yeah. I knew the only thing to do in situations like these was to sacrifice, so I did it. I sacrificed myself. And here I am now."
