When Mabel woke up the next day, she realised she had been lying against Bill's chest the whole night.
Blushing an immediate shade of dark red, she further discovered that Bill had wrapped a protective arm around her stomach, which helped in puling them closer to each other. Mabel blushed again at the physical contact.
She wanted to get up, but alas, she didn't want to wake Bill up. She decided to just stay where she was, inhaling the intoxicating smell of Bill.
She looked up at him, and was surprised to see her yellow scarf for him wrapped gently around his neck. Her heart melted and she snuggled herself against him.
Unknown to her, Bill wasn't sleeping. He sneaked a peek at her blushing face and smiled to himself. He felt so blessed. His arm around her tightened as they enjoyed their quiet moment together..
Suddenly he felt someone tugging against his neck. He looked down to see Mabel, with a naughty smirk on her face.
"Shooting Star, how dare you," he teased and nuzzled his head on her.

TIME SKIP! BASICALLY BILL WAS TALKIN ABOUT HIS OTHER SIDE REVEALING EVERYTHING TO MABEL BLAH BLAH BLAH SO YEAH
"Uh, all will be okay, I guess well actually I really don't know.." Mabel was good in consoling people but she found it hard to tell him lies. All will not be okay, Will sounds dangerous.
"That is why I needed to stay away from you, I didn't, I didn't want to harm you again. It pains me." he looked down. This time, she wasn't afraid to place her hands on his.
"Okay! Now enough of this, it's too sad, let's go somewhere else!" his voice changed and he sounded enthusiastic. Mabel knew he wanted to change the subject as quick as possible and since she didn't like a sad-faced Bill, she went along and nodded, smiling.
He took out his hand, and she held it willingly.
Stepping into an imaginary door, they arrived in a forest.
Mabel looked around, this place looks familiar to her..
"Are we in Gravity Falls? I recognise this place..." she walked over as something caught her eye. Ironically, she was pointing at a toadstool on the ground.
"Such as these special looking unique toadstools!"
Bill resisted his urge to tell her about the story of the toadstool.
"This is my spot and this is where I go when I'm troubled," he shrugged.
"And why are we here?" she pressed on. She was curious on how he would answer.
"I don't know why, Shooting Star, I have this constant urge to make you happy and I thought that if i brought you here, you might calm down or something. I hope its helping..." he gave a small smile.
It is funny how he says things that unknowingly gives me the feels, Mabel thought.
"Well I guess I owe you one.." she broke the silence and sat on the dewy grass.
The surroundings were crisp and cool and a chilly breeze blew by every once in a while. It must have just rained.
Mabel was getting cold.
He saw it. Quickly, he took off his blazer and wrapped it gently around her back. She blushed a faint pink as she adjusted her silky chestnut brown hair. He took a seat next to her and Mabel stared at him.
"I'm not cold!" he snapped his fingers as Mabel's yellow scarf appeared around him. He smirked and puffed his cheeks. He was not acting cute, but being cute.
Laughing, Mabel leaned her head against him.
She didn't know why she was doing it so often, but she liked this feeling. A lot.
It wasn't an awkward silence, but a comforting one as Mabel heard the sounds of nature, while Bill was just enjoying this rare human moment he had never experienced before.
Mabel didn't feel scared, usually she wouldn't dare to wander out into the Gravity Falls forest alone, but today she felt protected and safe.
Then a thought struck her.
The surroundings were in colour.
She shot up and Bill looked a bit sad. As if he understood.
"Shooting Star, please don't go.. I know you miss your brother badly but I really want to be with you... Please stay.. For me..."
Mabel couldn't believe it. Was he giving her a choice? So she could if she wanted to?
Bill was tired. He suddenly felt tired of all the Gravity Falls journal nonsense. He just wanted to stay here with the human he presumably like. For once, he didn't want Mabel to slip away. He wanted to call off the deal. But he couldn't. He was so tired, so tired of all this...
For once, whatever he said was true.
He didn't want her to leave him, to say goodbye...
Please don't go...
Mabel thought again. She was going to see her brother soon, according to the deal, it was a week right? She could see her brother soon. She sighed and leaned back. He looked so much like he needed her. And she wanted him.
"Okay," she mumbled.
"Thank you," he breathed into her ear, closing his eyes.
