CHAPTER 9 ❣❣

~FLASHBACK~

An older version of Avril is seen crying and talking to Giovanni.

"W-w-w-why d-do y-ou ha-ate me so much" She yelled tears streaming down her pretty face.

"I don't hate you" Giovanni simply replies shrugging.

"Then why don't you talk to me, why do you sleep around with other girls, why it not my fault that we're getting married ,why don't you even consider the fact that we're mates" She retorts sharply.

"Avril I don't have time for this" He was about to leave when her next words stops him.

"Why am I even alive when the person I'm going to spend the rest of my fucking life with totally hates me" She mutters about to leave when a rough hand jerks her back.

"Don't you date hurt yourself " Giovanni warns staring deep into her eyes.

"Why do you even care" She retorts and tried removing her hands from his grip keyword tried. Suddenly he pulls her forward and held her by her waist.

" I might not show it but I do" He mutters slamming his lip on hers.

~PRESENT~
ISABELLA'S POV

I woke up gasping for air due to the sudden flashback I just had before noticing I was still in the cell, my clothes hung to my body like a second skin courtesy of my sweat, my lips are cracked and my throat was parched due to thirst, I'm pretty sure I must look like hell.
I moved towards the dead end of the cell and move to a corner, curling myself into the corner I let the tiredness knock me out.

I woke up to some squeaking sounds and met a strange cat sitting on my laps making me scream running to the other side of the cell but the stubborn little thing decided to follow me but this time I waited patientlyand allowed it on my lap before carefully lifting my hands up to pet its fur (she's referring the cat as 'it' cause she doesn't know the gender) I purred cutely bringing a smile to my face, suddenly I felt a prick on my palm, bringing it close to my face, I saw blood before I black out, I should have know it wasn't a normal cat.

~FLASHBACK~

I saw a grown up avril walking down the isle in a huge white ball gown with a smile adorning her face hands intwined with her father's as he leads her to a handsome Giovanni who also stands with a smile on his face awaiting his bride, beside him was a blurry figure I paid no attention to, as soon as Giovanni was about to take her hand, the sound of gunshot rang in the air as Avril fell to the ground, blood sprouting out of her mouth.

~PRSENT~

I woke up gasping in pain as blood flows out of my mouth while clutching my tummy bleeding due to the hole imbedded in it, I curled into a ball as I silently cry in pain, all of a sudden the cell doors open revealing Giovanni who takes in my form an unknown expression evident in his face, he swiftly took me up making sparks erupt my whole form as I black out for the third time.
