ISABELLA'S POV
I woke up due to voices outside the room I was in.
"What do you mean she's Avril " The prince's voice roars angrily.
"She's reincarnated for a reason your highness" An unknown voice stated calmly seeming unfazed by the prince's angry voice "which explains why she look like her and do things Avril used to do, as for the injuries seems like she's started having flashbacks of her past life and got injured in the present one she just had, if she gets injured in her flashbacks the injury will keep on showing on her in the present till she fully regains her memories, in order to stop the flashbacks you can try showing her things that will trigger her memories" The voice continues.
A sudden pain hit me as I tried to stand up, I looked down to see a bandage wrapped round my tummy, I pretended to be asleep when I heard the door opening.
"I know you're awake" The prince says taking a seat at the left side of the bed. I slowly opened my eyes and started looking round the room avoiding his gaze.
"I'm sorry" He whispers emotionless making my eyes look at him in shock.
"A-are you apologising because I'm the reincarnation of your lover?" I ask nervously.
"I'm apologising because I treated you wrong and as Avril will say Respect and treat all beings right irrespective of who they are cause they all have feelings" He explain smiling slightly at the memory of his mate.
~FLASHBACK~
Giovanni is seen sitting on a bench in a beautiful garden, sitting next to his is Avril, a maid walks over to them to serve them coffee, she accidentally spills little of the hot coffee on the prince's clothes,Giovanni stood up and slapped her harshly making her fall to the ground due to the impact, Avril kneels down beside her, help her and apologising before telling her to leave.
"Why did you do that" Avril asks him harshly.
"Doesn't she deserve it?" Giovanni asks nonchalantly.
"Nobody deserves to be treated that way just because their rank is beneath us, we should learn to respect and treat humans right irrespective of who they are cause they all have feelings" Avril says angrily about to leave but Giovanni pulls her back and rests his head on her shoulder, shocking her since he wasn't the one to initiate skinship.
"I'm sorry princess" He apologised.
"It's her you should apologise to" She retorts even though she knows her would never do that.
"Fine" He replies pecking her making her smile.
~PRESENT~
"I just had a flashback of the day she told you that, did you later apologise to the woman?" I ask curiously.
"I think so" He replied avoiding my gaze nervously, I unconsciously smiled at the sight.
"I'll call in a witch to help in healing your wounds" He says standing and leaving the room.
Soon the door opens revealing Leonardo.
"Hey isa, how's your wounds" Leonardo asks worriedly as he sat beside me on the bed.
"I'm fine, thank you" I respond with a smile on my face.
"There's something you need to know" He says suddenly becoming serious.
"I'm your blood brother".
