I had a presentation for my psychology class. Usually, I didn't mind presenting in front of my class but this time we were working in pairs. I was a complete control freak and unfortunately, my partner was Harvey.

Although we had become closer in the past few weeks, we still weren't the best of friends. We hadn't even slept together since the party. It's not that I didn't want to, (I really did) it was just that the opportunity hadn't presented itself.

I knew Harvey would try and procrastinate and derail the project but we were both smart individuals so the work would be great.

"Do you wanna come over to work on our project?" I messaged him. I just wanted to get it done.

"Yeah sure, send me your address, and your number," he replied promptly.

I sent him my information and a time for him to come over. He was set to arrive at six and for some reason, I couldn't wait. I wanted to deny my anticipation but I simply couldn't.

I dressed nicely yet still casually. I wore a unitard that accentuated every curve on my body. I threw a hoodie on top to leave something to the imagination. I wanted to tell myself it was for me but it certainly was not.

"Hey I'm outside," Harvey texted me and I buzzed him in. I didn't want to keep myself from him.

I heard a faint knock on the door and went to open it. Not too fast nor too slow. When I opened the door for him, he had that boyish smile that made me want him the last time we were alone.

"Come in," I smiled back and let him into my flat.

"Nice place," he said as he looked around.

"Thanks," I said and led him into my living room.

"Oh I brought food," he added and placed it on my coffee table.

"Oh you didn't have to do that," I said and he quickly contested.

"I wanted to," he said, "plus I'm starving," he added and I laughed quietly.

I got up to get us cutlery and plates so we could work as we ate. I thought we could get everything done fairly quickly since we had an easy topic and we both enjoyed it.

We sat on the sofa and got to work as we ate the Chinese food Harvey had bought.

He stretched his arm over and rested it on the back of the sofa as if he wanted to wrap it around me. I noticed but I didn't bring it up.

We playfully flirted with each other as we worked. I focused on his features as we engaged. I wanted to kiss his lips and play with his hair. He had this annoyingly nice smile which took my mind to places it didn't need to be.

"Maybe we should take a break," he suggested for the fifth time. I was keeping count.

"Since you're begging for it," I sighed jokingly and he laughed. We had got about halfway through the project and I was ready for a break. I wasn't bored of his company, just the work.

I turned up the music slightly and took a sip of my water. He looked at his phone for a second before putting it away and averting his attention to me.

"Let's play a game," he suddenly said and I laughed.

"A game? What kind of game?" I asked. I couldn't believe I was engaging. He smiled widely and faced me fully.

"Truths?" He suggested and I raised an eyebrow as I turned so I was fully facing him. "I wanna know more about you and if we make it a game it will be fun." He reassured.

"A bright young adult and a Harvey playing a game to get to know each other..." I started and he tried not to laugh. "If you wanna know anything, just ask. I'm an open book." I told him and he leaned back.
