ZITHULELE
I still can't get her text messages out of my head. It's definitely messing with head and my heart too. Why did she had to come back into my life after turning it upside down like it's some item lying around.
Not only she's back but she's back claiming that she's pregnant by me. I can't deny the fact that we were sexually intimate but after finding out that she's been stealing money from me while we were still together is making me doubt the paternity of the pregnancy being mine. As much as I want to believe all that she's saying I can't help but want to leave the room with a little bit if disappointment.
I likes Onkarabile so much, so much that at that time I even introduced her to my older brother. We were only together for two months at that time and it felt right to me to introduce her to Nkosinathi.
I've never introduced any of my past girlfriends to my family because I always knew that they were after the fame and money that came from my family and that was something I've always avoided.
But there was something different about her. Something that gravitated me towards her.
It didn't take time for me to fall for her charms and the way she spoke. It was like she did her research on me and the idiot that I was ,was quick to fall for her.
I always acknowledged her beauty beyond her body but mostly it was the way she carried her self and intelligent and intimidating she was whenever she waltzed in a room.
I didn't do a background check on her because she appeared as someone who wasn't after money but rather to form a genuine connection with me.
It took a while for me register what she had told me and funny enough is that I even went through her Instagram account just to verify of she was telling the truth about it but there was nothing, just old pictures of herself and a few recent one's of her daughter.
I'm sure my ancestors are turning in their graves because this is not how a Mthembu men was raised. When my father found out what had happened he was rather disappointed than livid but my mother on the other hand was ready to give Onka her peace of mind. I understood why though. Out of all my siblings I'm the most fragile always has been.
It's 10pm and I've just arrived at my place. I drive inside the garage and park my car.
I didn't waste any time as soon as I got inside the house I went straight to my bedroom and took a shower, something that I've longing especially after the long day I had with that back to back meetings I had.Running a multimillionaire company isn't something that you should take for granted, it requires a lot of attention and time too.
After taking a shower and eating the food that my housekeeper had placed in the oven for me I was ready to retire to my bed.
Ring. Ring.
I take look at the night stand and grabbed my phone not looking who it was calling me this late.
"Mhh"
"Ulele?"[ Are you sleeping] I instantly recognize the voice.
"No I'm not I just got inside my bed, what's wrong?"
"Mmh okay, I'm sorry I caught you at the wrong time but this could wait "
I sit straight in my bed as I could hear the concern in his voice. That's Nkosinathi for you.
"Kwenze njani?"[ What is the matter?] I asked him.
"Namhlanje while I was at the mall I bumped into that ex of yours "[ Today...]
I knew who he was talking about. He despise her with passion and isn't afraid of showing it.
"Okay...?" I questioned
"It looks like she is pregnant and about to pop anytime soon, did you know about this?"
Silence
"Ndi khuluma nawe bafo did you know?" [ I'm talking to you brother...]
"Yes "I say as I sighed.
"And you bother telling me why"
"I am not sure if it's mine or not and she contacted me last night so I'm not quite certain if she's telling the truth about it being mine or not"
"Did you tell ubaba?" [....dad]
"No I haven't, I wanted to meet up with her first before doing anything else "
"Uzo hlangana naye nine?"[ when are you going to meet up with her?] he asked and I could here rage of his voice through the phone how pissed he is about this.
"Angazi"[ I don't know]
"Probably on Saturday or Sunday I'll see I haven't gotten back to her ""Mmh make sure you contact us on how the meeting went so you can keep us updated, I don't trust that girl "
Sigh as I closed my eyes.
"Yeah I hear you"
"Already than ulale kahle"[ ...sleep well]
"Nawe" [ you too]
He hangs up the phone and I can't help but rethink about what he said.
As much as I want to place the idea of me possibly becoming a father inside my head I can't help but question the fact that Nathi mentioned that 'she looks like she's about to pop anytime soon '.
Could she be lying? Is this another way of her sneaking back into my life by pinning me with a baby?
I went to sleep with the questions running wild in my head and let sleep take over.
