My name is Rosalie Jane Crowner and a few days ago I was just a normal sixteen year-old girl. I lived in Boston and had lots of friends. Then my parents divorced and my dad came with me to Rio de Janeiro. He's playing soccer and he found a new team here and because he's off for training most of the time I have our whole villa and all the time for myself.
On my very first day in the new city I started dancing in a hip hop crew with five boys. Especially one of them, Juan, is very nice...
As I said, I was a normal girl until... well... until now, right now. Right now I'm in a skate park with Juan. But before I come to this I have to tell you something. Juan has his own car so he offered me to bring me to school. And when I came in the most popular guy in the whole school held a "speech" about Juan being adored by a thousand girls and so on. While he talked, my friend Luna came in and told him to shut up. But she didn't just say it like that. She knew everything about my training but I swear I had never ever told her anything about it. And she does not know my fellow dancers or my teacher.
Now I'm telling Juan all about this...
"There's a girl in my class... Her name is Luna. She... she knew everything about what I did yesterday, I mean the dancing and so on. And I swear to you I've never told her any thing about it!"
I feel Juan tighten at my side.
"From where do you know? I mean that she knows what you did?"
"When you brought me to school in the morning the most popular boy in school recognized your car. And he was asking me about how it happened, that you brought me to school and how it comes you pay so much attention to me. Well I didn't really listen... anyway Luna just appeared with her boyfriend Nahuel and she told that guy about how I joined your crew yesterday. Afterwards I asked her from where she knew and she said she couldn't tell me 'cause it would kill me if she did."
"Oh gosh!" Juan whispers pressing his face into his hands.
"What?" I demand. What the hell was going on with them all???
"I... I'll tell you later. It's a long story and she's right it's dangerous to even speak about it. You've got to promise me something. Beware of this girl! Promise me that you will never trust this girl!"
That was the moment I realized something was terribly wrong. And I mean really wrong...
"I promise." I say.
